Talents- Adrienette

This is a two part fanfic, it's also a lot of dialogue so I apologize. Anyways I hope you enjoy:

"The first ever school talent show will be next month." Miss Bustier said proudly to the students of Dupont Middle School. Our class was abuzz with the news, Chloe smiled like she had finally tricked Adrien into a date with her.

"What can we do?" Rose called from the back of the class from her seat next to Juleka.

"Well you can do anything you'd like as long as it respects the conduct of the school." More excited whispers fell from the students rushed lips. The atmosphere of the room was ecstatic with excitement and students began to think out loud about what they would do. I too thought about what I should do for the talent show, if I got enough courage to actually audition.

"I'm gonna DJ some sick beats, got to get home first though, where all my equipment is." Nino said to Alya who was leaning forward in joy.

"I think I might play the flute or do some interpretive dance, what about you Mari?" Nino, Alya, and Adrien spun around in their seats to look at me.

"Oh, um, I don't know. Sewing isn't really a talent I can perform."

"Adrikins!" We all cast our gazes at the incoming girl with bright blonde hair and yellow cardigan. "You're going to play the piano while I sing right? Wouldn't we be perfect together?" She batted her lashes and pouted out her bottom lip out at Adrien who looked uninterested at the idea of sharing the stage with the mayor's daughter.

"Actually Chloe me and Marinette were going to do the show together, but I'm sure Sabrina and you will come up with something amazing." Chloe shot me an angry glare before returning to her seat. Sabrina and her talked for awhile and Sabrina took notes on whatever Chloe told her to write down. Adrien looked back at me once again, "Sorry for volunteering you like that Marinette but I don't think I could bear listening to Chloe sing. She's horrible at it even with the best voice coaches her dad can hire, I feel bad for Sabrina." We laughed.

"Adrien and Mari, what do you think you guys will do for the talent show?"

"Oh Adrien doesn't need me." I locked eyes with his and I was mesmerized by the way his emerald eyes sparkled in the daylight streaming through the windows.

"Actually I would really like it if you were my partner for the show, there has to be something we're both good at." He laughed.

"Well what are your talents then?" Nino asked while removing his headphones, he must have been listening to some music to inspire his later jam session.

"Fencing, piano, Mandarin, Shakespeare, modeling, basketball, and History."

"Well I don't do any of those," we all laughed and then Alya suggested the idea.

"Hey, why don't you guys do a play!? Mari can whip up some quick costumes and then you guys can perform it!"

"What do you think Marinette?" I gave it some thought as I pulled out my sketchbook and started drawing the model. "It really depends on what play we do, I mean Twelfth Night they have those animal heads, those would take a lot of time."

"We'll do one of his more simple productions, a two person scene."

"How about Romeo and Juliet? There's a bunch of scenes with just them."

"Yeah, there are some great scenes like the balcony one." Nino and Alya shared a devilish look while watching my blushing cheeks. Adrien watched me intently from the corner of his eye at my reaction, "I-its really up to him, we need to make the decision now so I can start to sew up the costumes. And then we'll need to make a schedule of times we can rehearse, he'll need to come to my house to have the costume fitted-"

"Actually I have some of the stuff already, I did a photoshoot for the ren-faire and they let me keep some of the stuff. I also have a connection to the woman who ran the shoot so I could ask her for a Juliet costume."

"I actually have a design for her that I'd like to make..." I drifted off my words and flipped back through my pages trying to find the design, I remember the way the sleeves billowed from the slightly off shoulder neckline, it was one of my more complicated designs.

"Can't wait to see it." The bell rang dismissing us from class, I gathered my stuff and put it away in my bag, I was very excited for the time I would spend with Adrien.
