High school love story.

"Natalie" I heard my mom call as I got out the shower. First day of junior year, fun right? "I just got out the shower" I yell back. I wrap my towel around my body and walk to my room. I get ready for my first day as a junior. I give myself one last look in the mirror and I look okay for once. I walk downstairs to see my mom and daughter sitting at the kitchen table waiting for me. "Nat you look beautiful" my mom said while hugging me and kissing my forehead. "Jay what do you think?" I asked my daughter while picking her up and kissing her on her nose. Im gonna miss her while at school. "Alex is on her way over to pick me up" I said to my mom while eating my cereal and watching my daughter play with her Barbie doll. "Shes getting so big" I sighed "Who Alex?" my mom said sarcastically "Yeah mom Alex" I said while laughing. "She is getting pretty big, can't believe she's already gonna be 2 in march". I couldn't be more thankful for my mom, she's been there for me ever since I had Jayelle. She's helped me with her, supported me through all my decisions. I wouldn't be anywhere without her. I heard a honk outside and I knew it was Alex, I grabbed my bag, kissed my mom and daughter and was out the door. "Well damn look at you" Alex said when I got in her car "I try I try" I said while laughing "You ready for our first day as Juniors?" Alex asked "Yes I'm so ready. I'm gonna miss Jay though" I sighed "I haven't seen her in a week how do you think I feel I miss my daughter" Alex said while laughing. Ever since I got pregnant me and Alex always joked around saying she was Jays dad. That's just how our friendship is, I love her to death. "Come over after school" "I might, if I like you enough" "Oh you love me" I turned up the radio and we sung along to every song that came on until we finally arrived at school. "You ready?" Alex asked me "Always" I replied. "I'll see you in lunch!" I yelled to her as we split up going to our classes "I'll miss you!" I heard her yell back I just waved. First period went by quick, as did second through fourth. It was finally fifth which meant next period was lunch. So far Fifth is my favorite class, study hall. I laughed to myself as I took my seat. "Good morning class I am Mrs. Jones, as you can tell already I am your study hall teacher, no this is not a free period where you can do whatever you want. You study, do your homework, or catch up on books you wanna read. You will not just do nothing in here. If you do not have anything, I will give you something. Do you have any questions?" okay maybe I won't like this class to much.

"Oh my goodness Alex I hate my classes so far, I thought I would like fifth period but Mrs. Jones is a bitch!" "Right, I have her third period and she made this long speech about how if we don't have anything to do she's gonna give up something" She said while imitating Mrs. Jones. "She did that with our class too" I sighed "What even is this?" Alex asked while moving whatever substance was on her plate "I really don't know" I said while doing the same. We talked about our classes, the kids in them, and our teachers and before we knew it the lunch period ended.

Finally ninth period I thought to myself. Forty-five more minutes and I'll be out of this hell hole and I'll be able to see my daughter. Ninth period is Science and it's usually my favorite subject depending on my teacher. "Good afternoon class! My name is Mrs. Karen I'm nice most of the time but if you tick me off you'll see a new me" she seems nice, very cheerful. I might like her. The class went by fast and before I knew it the bell rang and the day was over. I went to go find Alex and we walked to her car. We drove back to my house and talked about how our day went and what we did. We pulled into my driveway and got out her car. "Mom I'm home!" I yelled and sat mine and Alex's bag on the counter. I walked into the living to see my mom and daughter asleep on the couch. Best sight ever. Alex and I just went up to my room and watched The Notebook and talked about some things. About an hour or two later we went downstairs and my mom was in the kitchen with Jayelle making dinner. "Alexandrea I didn't know you were here!" my mom said while giving Alex a hug. "How were your girls days at school?" she asked "Like it always is" "Boring" me and Alex said at the same time and laughed. "Jay Bug I missed you!" Alex said when she picked Jay up out of her booster chair. Jay babbled to Alex while we all ate and by the time we were done it was getting late and Alex had to go home and I had to get myself and Jay ready for bed. "Bye Nat, see you tomorrow" Alex said while pulling out of my driveway. "Bye!" I yelled.
