dear diary. i was scammed.

i can't believe i thought donghyuck could go five minutes without jieun.
i also cannot believe i was actually getting over donghyuck. i mean i like him, then i don't, then i do and it's just one big annoying cycle.

so, donghyuck told me that he was coming round to my house after school on monday and i was excited because we were finally getting to spend time alone.
i really went all out, like i actually brushed my hair out so it doesn't look like ramen because the "mark your hair looks like the ramen in my lunchbox" jokes from chenle are getting old now. i even wore my favourite jumper and a silver bracelet donghyuck got me as a present.

i took out my guitar as well because i wanted to play donghyuck a piece of the song i've been writing and ask his opinion on it.

but as soon as i opened the door after the doorbell rang, i honestly felt like burying myself under my bedsheets forever.

donghyuck was at the door. but so was jieun. and they were making out.

look, there's nothing wrong with pda but when jieun is shoving her tongue down donghyuck's throat, on my front porch may i add, there is a small problem! and by small i mean BIG.

turns out donghyuck wanted me to help him AND jieun because they were auditioning for the part of the prince and princess. how fucking cliche. but you what the worst part is.

jieun is a really good singer, she's incredibly nice AND she even brought me a new guitar pick because she heard i lost my lucky one so according to jeno, i have no valid reason to hate her. and i hate it.

to be honest, if i wasn't head over heels for donghyuck, i'd probably ship them, because as much as i hate to admit it, they're really cute together and i don't think i've ever seen donghyuck look this happy so i guess i'm going to have to live with it.

so after that awkward event, i tried giving them some space because donghyuck may be my crush but he isn't my only best friend. so i went bowling with jeno, jaemin and renjun after school on wednesday.

jisung couldn't come because he had dance practice and chenle was doing god knows what. i mean, we're all weird in our own way but chenle is a whole new level. besides, the last time we went bowling with him, we got kicked out because his obnoxious dolphin laugh made a bunch of 4 year olds cry because it was so loud.

i have to say, it was pretty cool, apart from the fact that renjun nearly dropped a bowling ball on his foot and jaemin spent half of the time making heart eyes at jeno instead of actually bowling, so we got kicked out of our lane after an hour. but the hour that we were there was actually fun. it reminded that even if i don't have donghyuck around at the moment, i still have my other best friends, as weird and dumb as they are.

so what i think i'm trying to say is that i'm slowly getting over donghyuck. and jeno told me there's a guy in our maths class who he thinks would be perfect for me so i'm going to see how that goes. hopefully it doesn't flop because i don't know how much more disappointment i can take in one week. goodbye.
