He turned and looked at me "Are you Emily?" I stared him in the eyes and nodded my head.

"How ironic is it that we are both down here the same day and time?" I said back to him. We continued talking for a little while longer.

"I hate to leave so soon but I promised my parents I'd be home by 2." I told Lucas. He looked a little sad but just nodded his head and said "I better get home, too. I live right up the street."

"We should walk together because i live right up there to." I said with a big smile on my face. We started walking for a few minutes and we were finally home.

"This is my house right there, next to the one on the corner." Lucas said pointing at it

"You gotta be kidding because I live right next door!" I said out of shock. Wow life is just full of surprises. "Do you want to come inside, neighbor?" I offered Lucas. He just shrugged his shoulders and we went inside. My house was pretty messy since we just moved there a few days ago but it was decent. I showed him up to my almost empty room.

Lucas looked around then looked out the window. "Guess what," he said with a smile, "Right through that window is my room."
