The next morning i had one new text message. It was from Lucas. It was just him asking if i wanted a ride to school. I told him sure and he said he would meet me outside in an hour. I got all of my stuff together and was running out he door just in time. Lucas was standing by him car looking amazing like always. He had on blue jeans and a dark green t-shirt. I hopped in the front seat and we headed to school.
"So what do you have first period?" Lucas asked trying to break the silence.
I looked at my schedule then said "Algebra II with Ms. Smith i think."
Lucas looked a bit shocked then said "Thats my math class. Its like all juniors in there."
"I guess im just that smart." I said with a smile. We pulled into the school parking lot and Lucas lead me to irst period. I saw two girls that were at Lucas' bonfire the other night and they showed me around the rest of the day. I was getting attention from a lot of people. Probably becasue i am the new girl. I barely got any attention from Lucas. For some reason Lucas just seemed to ignore the fact that we had even shared a kiss the night before. It seemed like the kiss ment nothing now.
