Wake Me Up

"Son get up" Zach's mother, spoopy, said. "Shut up Mom. I'm gonna kill you!" He said to his mom. "Please do" she said in pain. Zach was walking out the door. "Don't forget your noose son!" His mother yelled. "Thanks mom" he hugged her good bye and left. "My mom is so stupid. I wish she was dead." He said to his partner, Juan. Juan was the quiet guy. He didn't say much. "So..." Zach looked around. What's out mission today guys?" He said as he and Juan entered the secret headquarters. Zane was standing with Duckman. "We're after a pedophile" Zane said to Zach. Duckman snickered. "What's so funny?" Zach said as he grabbed Duckman by the throat. Duckman said nothing and they let him go. "So give me the details on the mission." Zach said to Zane. Seth walked up behind Zane and put his arms around his shoulders, like a couple would do. "You and Juan gotta find Bob Duncan. You gotta take him down" Seth said, Zane nodding. "Okay." Zach said, "so what's in it for me?" Juan smiled "I got you a new jaw harp bud." Zach jumped like a little kid "yay!" He yelled. They soon were on their way.

It was very cold on the way to find Bob. The boys were given little money. They had to use it very wisely. They both knew it wouldn't be an easy mission. They were ready to go home already.

The second day out looking for Bob, Juan caught a cold. He had a high fever. Zach was scared that Juan wouldn't make it. What would he do? If something happens to Juan he'll be all alone. Juan was becoming very sick, very fast. It was just getting colder outside. Soon it was night. They had to camp out because their money was almost gone now. They decided to camp out in the woods. It wouldn't be safe or comfortable. Especially for Juan.

When morning came, Zach was still half asleep. He woke up, looked around and tried to wake Juan up. "Juan?" He said quietly. "Juan." He said louder. "Come on Juan stop kidding around." Zach was tearing up. "Juan!" He yelled realizing Juan was dead and would never wake up. "Juan please. Why did you have to go?" He held Juan I his arms crying. It began to snow. Zach would blame this on Bob. Bob Duncan was in for it. "I'm coming Duncan" he said and looked up to the sky.
