The New Girl

Chapter 3

Alex opened the door to Abby's office.

The moment they stepped in, they started being recorded.

"Well hello, hello!" Abby says to Andrea and Alex.

She and Andrea shake hands.

"You must be Alex,'' She says to Alex.

Alex nods.

''And you're Andrea then," Abby said.

"Well, welcome to the ALDC, I'm gonna give you this to change into," Abby says to Alex holding out a red dance outfit with the words ALDC on it.

Alex goes and changes into her new dance outfit, she comes back smiling when she gets it on.

"You like it?" Abby asks.

Alex nods.

"Well practice starts in 15 minutes. I'll call you in then," Abby says to them.

The cameras then turns off.

Abby then tells the two what to do.

"Okay, so you two are gonna come out when the shooting begins for pyramid. The girls have no idea about you. You are top secret." Alex giggles at the thought of her being a top secret. "When you come out, I want you to introduce yourself, and then your mom will introduce herself, okay? Good," Abby says to Alex and Andrea.

Soon enough the other girls are there and Abby walks out for pyramid with the cameras following.

"Okay girls this week we have an addition to the team," Abby says as all the girls faces light up, "Her name is Alex," Abby says as Alex and Andrea walk into the room. "And this is her mom Andrea," Abby says as Alex and her mom walk out. "Introduce yourselves."

"I am Alexandria Wretchford, I like to be called Alex or Ally though. I am 9 years old. And that's it." Alex says to the group of people watching her.

"I'm Andrea, I'm Alex's mom. I work as a lawyer. And we live in Northern Ohio." Alexia says.

"Okay girls so pyramid! On the bottom we have Alex since you just joined us. Next we have Nia you came in 3rd for your duo. Next we have Kendall. You also came in 3rd for your duo. Next we have Mackenzie you did nice in the group dance. Then we have Paige, you did nice on the group dance. Next we have Chloe you're duo with Brooke came in 1st. But I still thought you could be done better. Next is Brooke, same as Chloe. Next we have Maddie. You did beautifully in the solo and group dance," Abby says to everyone.

"This week's group dance has everyone in it. It's called One Chance. For solos we have Alex because she's on probation. Your solo is called Billion Dollar Baby. Next we have Brooke with Lightning Bolt. Then we also have Paige. Paige you will have a dance called I'll Run Far. Alright mom's you dismissed!" Abby said finishing pyramid without any drama.

All the girls including Alex went and stretched.

"I'm Paige," Paige said friendly to Alex.

"I'm Alex," Alex said surprisingly quiet.

Paige smiles at her.

"Girls! Listen up! We are doing a lyrical dance this week! Its called One Chance," Abby says as all the girls listen. Abby explains the dance to the girls. Alex tried to listen carefully trying to let all the dance moves sink into her brain.

When Abby was done she asked, "Understood?" And without waiting for an answer she said, "Good. Let's go work."
