Chapter 1

Today is the first day of College life for Kathryn Chandaria Bernardo. A 17 year old girl. She is a Freshmen sa RCP (Richmond College of the Philippines)

"good morning yaya Mads!" bati nya sa kanyang yaya.

Si yaya Madel/Mads lang ang kasama nya sa bahay because both of her parents are working abroad.

bumibisita rin naman sila ng  bansa pero twice or thrice a year lang. Reason? Business.

Bernardo Family is owning busnisses abroad. Malamang sa malamang, they are rich... yet, di pa masyadong kilala ang company nila that's why her parents are really working hard. It's their dream eversince kase.

She understand naman na her parents need to work also for her. She is now taking the course of Entrepreneurship BSBA Fashion Marketing.

Designing clothes is her hobby since she was still a little child. And now it's her passion.

She is supposed to be studying in the U.S. kaso ayaw nya. Why?

She's been bullied.

She insisted na dito nalang mag-aral sa Philippines para maging mas comfortable naman sya. Buti nalang at pinayagan sya ng parents nya. In fact, she gained lots of friends.

She is simple and humble. Many people loves her for her attitude. Ayaw nyang maging tulad nang mga flirts and bitches sa America. She prefers to be who she is.

"Good morning din Kathy! Grabe.. Dalaga na talaga ang alaga ko. No boyfriend muna ha?" yaya Mads.

Natawa naman si Kath sa sinabi ng yaya nya.

"Haha. Yaya! Ang paranoid mo talaga. And, ayoko pa sa mga ganyan. I guess I'm too young for those love and stuff. Books before boys nga diba po sabi ni Kuya Kevs?" Kath said in a wide smile.

Kath has an older brother. Si Kevin Bernardo. He is 25 years old.

Nasa U.S. din sya with their parents. He is a workaholic. Though, kahit busy, super close pa din nila sa isa't-isa ni Kath. Baby nya ito eh. Every saturday nagsk-skype sila for updates about each other.

Possessive si Kevin pag tungkol kay Kath na ang usapan. Ganun nya kamahal ito.

Back to Kathryn... She's done with all her morning rituals. It's time to go to school.

"yaya, I have to go na po. Bye yaya!" pagpapaalam ni Kath sabay beso sa kanyang yaya.

lumabas na sya at pumunta sa garage. Pumasok na sya sa kotse at nagpahatid sa driver nya.

"Kuya Ed, sa RCP po." utos ni Kath.

"Sige nak, lagay ka na ng seatbelt." sabi ni Mang Ed. Driver sya ni Kath since HS pa.

"Salamat po!" Kath.

@School...

"Kuya Ed, hanggang sa gate nalang po. Ite-text ko nalang po kayo if magpapasundo na po ako" magalang na paalam ni Kath kay Kuya Ed.

"Ah sige nak. Mag-iingat ka ha? Baka mapagalitan kami ng kuya mo nyan." pag aalala ni Kuya Ed.

Natawa naman si Kath. Napaka protective talaga ng Kuya Kevin nya.

"Haha. hindi po yan. Wag po kayong mag-alala. Mag-iingat po ako. Sige po. Mauuna na po ako." at umalis na si Kath.

Nakapasok na sya ng Campus.

Time to get her schedule...

on her way to the principal's office,

"Kathryn!" napalingon naman si Kath.

O.O <- Kath.

"Julia!? Miles!? Oh my gosh! I missed you girls!"

Si Julia Montes at si Miles Ocampo ang bestfriends ni Kath. BFF's na silang tatlo since Highschool. Sila rin ang nagtatanggol kay Kath kapag nabubully ito. Kilala na sila ni Kevin kasi nga diba, nasa states pa sila nun.

"Girl! Ang ganda mo lalo. Well, we all are. Pero teka... We have news." Julia.

"huh? what news?" Kath.

Ewan nya pero parang kinakabahan sya.

Arghh. Kath ang OA mo. Wala pa nga, kinakabahan ka na agad.

Sabi nya sa isip nya.

"Good news or bad?" Tanong ni Miles.

"Good" sagot naman ni Kath.

"osige. Here is the good news. Ako ang nagpa set ng schedule natin and almost 50% of the day, magkakasama tayo. I insisted na 100% na kaso ang unfair naman daw sabi ni Daddy." Julia.

Yup. Montes' own their school. Sila ang may 60% shares dito while the 40% shares is with the Padilla's.

"That's great! Okay lang yun. Atleast nga pinayagan ka pa eh. Uhh..... Can I now hear the bad news?" kinakabahang tanong ni Kath.

"Kath, do you remember D-Daniel? Daniel Estrada?" Miles.

napatulala naman si Kath. He is the reason kung bakit sya nandito ngayon instead of she being in America. He is the reason kung bakit sya tinapak-tapakan noon. He is the reason kung bakit sya naging miserable ngayon (not being w/ her family and stuff). He is the reason for her WORSE.

"Girl!" Miles snapped her out.

"A-ah, girls, let's not talk about him. I'll go na." nagmamadaling umalis si Kath.

5 years na ang nakaraan after her migration sa Philippines because of him. Kinasusuklaman nya ito. She just wan't to move on!

She got her sched and locker pass na. She wen't immediately to her locker.. She wan'ts to calm down.

Bakit pa kasi nila kailangan ipaalala sakin yun eh!

"Nakakainis." bulong ni Kath sa sarili nya.

Naiiyak na sya kasi she was thromatized on what happened nung nasa America pa sya. She was being slapped by bitches kasi those bitches thought na nilalandi nya si Daniel, she couldn't eat normal anymore nung nandun sya. She just Hates it.

Walking while forcing herself not to cry, she wen't to the comfort room.

*Booogsh*

"Ouch!" napaupo sya sa sahig.

"I'm sorry miss." guy.

she stood up. wiped her pants.

"No. It's okay. It's my fault anyway. I have to go."

"wait! you are? hey!" guy. hinabol pa sya nito.

"I'm Kath. Now can I go?"

"Nice meeting you Kath. I'm DJ. Yes you can go now. See ya soon!" DJ.

ngumiti nalang si Kath.

Weird. Yan lang ang pumasok sa isip ni Kath.
