Y/N sits in the student lounge surrounded by all her friends, Veronica Lodge, the sassy new girl. Betty Cooper, Y/Ns nextdoor neighbor. Archie Andrews, Y/N music buddy. Kevin Kellar, Y/Ns gay best friend. And last but not least, Jughead Jones, Y/Ns absolute best friend in the world.
As they all sit they decide to tell each other their middle names. Just for fun.
"Y/L/N what about you?" Kevin asks.
"What about me?" Y/N answers, clearly confused and proving that that she wasn't paying attention at all.
"What's your middle name?" Kevin asks again.
Y/N starts to reply before she gets interrupted by Veronica.
"Wait a minute, I don't even know Y/L/Ns last name, I kinda want to know that before I know her middle name. What is your last name Y/L/N?" She asks, dead serious. But through all the seriousness, she can't help but laugh, and she also notices Archie, Betty, Kevin and Jughead laughing too.
"What's so funny?" Veronica asks.
"What did you just ask me?" Y/N answers, still giggling.
"I asked you what your last name is." She slowly replies.
"No no, ask the question again. Word for word." Archie says, curious to see how the conversation ends.
"I said, what is your last name, Y/L/N?" And just like that, you all burst into hysterics.
"What's so funny?" Reggie comes over to ask, after seeing everyone bent over in laughter.
"Ronnie... Just asked... Y/L/N ...what her last name is." Kevin slowly says through his chuckles.
Reggie starts laughing too and walks away before Veronica speaks up.
" Seriously, what is so funny? I don't understand." They all start to calm down after seeing that she was starting to get annoyed.
"Ronnie?" Y/N asked.
"Yes?" Veronica replied.
"My last name, is Y/L/N. It's been my nickname since I was little. I've never really like my real name, so, I just kinda went by Y/L/N." Veronica's face softens as she finally clues in to what was happening.
"Well then what's your full name?" She finally asks.
"Y/N Y/M/N Y/L/N, nice to meet you." Y/N answers while sticking out her hand. As if formally introducing herself.
