Clang!

The swords and shields hit each other roughly, creating rackets loud enough to deafen a person. Archers that stood on hills, fired shots to keep the enemy at bay. Screams and shouts broke out and dead bodies littered the ground. The smell of blood and death permeated everything, and no one could tell who was winning, especially with so many dead.

Nobody noticed when a lone figure, covered in a blotchy, rich green cloak walked onto the field.

Bluebells, snowdrops, lilies, all of the sweetest smelling, and prettiest flowers you can imagine, spread out from the ground where her feet left, stretching out over the wasted field. She stops in the middle of the grounds, and pulls back her hood, before taking her cloak off.

A pair of upward curling ram's horns, protruded from her forehead, and angel's wings stretched out from her back, pale, and soft. Her long black hair curled down from her head, and past her knees, framing her ivory skin. Her eyes were gold. Gold like the circlet on her head, with the amethyst gem resting on her brow. Amongst all of the fighting, she seemed like a breath of fresh air.

But was she?

She curled her hands into her chest and crouched to the ground, as if hugging herself while crying. The flowers around her quickly started to wither away, shriveling up into nothing, and a bright light flowed up from the ground, and she shot up, releasing it into the sky.

"By the power of Odin, God of War and Death, Sky and Wisdom," many overlapping voices poured out of her. "I condemn you to a permanent death, from which you shall never reincarnate from."

Thunder roared in the distance and lightning struck the ground.

A figure floated down from the clouds, and spoke with power to the woman on the ground. "Seele Sister, in the name of Thor, I second that condemnation." The figure in the sky opened their wings, and a flicker of electricity sparked between their horns, rocketing into the flow of light.

All of a sudden, four more winged and horned people appeared from the sky, naming themselves after Tyr, Freyr, Heimdallr, and Loki, adding their powers to the storm condensing, until the light exploded, and all the people on the battlefield turned to stone, some, crumbling to dust, to be blown away by the wind.

Slowly but surely, the god like figures drifted away from the fighting grounds, Odin, leaving the ground green again, and Thor, clearing the sky, as thought it was all in a days work for the Seele folk.

All that was left of the battle was a few pieces of armor and weaponry, not even a drop of blood remained.

A howl erupted from the distance, and was soon followed by more, growing ever closer to his position.

The lone snow wolf that hid in his cave, shifted on his paws, careful not to trip over the long wing looking fins on his sides. Ice cracked over the stone ground, and up the walls. Cayli were not meant to be hidden in caves, they're were supposed to be kept in temples, guarding the resting places of gods. Now there were only three left. Him, his brother, and his sister.

But that only had a little of what to do right now.

Having only little choice in the matter, he shifted into his human form, and picked up his shedded skin, putting it on like a cloak, and dashed outside in to the cold winter night. He picked up a pile of leaves on the ground and crumpled them up in his hands, and threw them up into the wind.

After a second, he let lose a howl sharp enough to rip through the bones of an ordinary human, and the howl was relayed back to him by the dozens. Nobody knew that he put a little piece of his voice into those crumpled pieces of leaves and called them back when he howled. Especially not the pack of wolves that were now retreating.

A small glow started to appear next to him and a Seele, clothed in giant flower petals, stepped out and gave him a frown.

"Lacacius, what do you think you're doing?" She asked with disappointment filling her voice. "You know I can't keep the Seele council off of your back for much longer, right?"

The Cayli nodded his head in agreement and then hung it in dejection, leaving the woman to go back through her glowing portal before heading off into the snow storm.
