Germany rolled over on his bed so he faced Italy. Germany pulled him closer so he was laying against his chest. Italy snuggled up against Germany and whispered 'I love you' to which Germany replied 'I love you too.'
We sailed on together
We drifted apart

For some reason, Germany recalled all the times Italy and him broke up and got back together. He remembered the yelling he did, and how Italy cried all those times.

Germany regretted all the bad things he did to Italy. He loved Italy, he really did. He just had a hard time showing it the right way. He smiled as Italy had his eyes closed, dreaming. He loved how Italy looked. He was so goddamn adorable.

Germany remembered a time after he and Italy broke up. He had missed the Italian so much, nothing could cheer him up. He felt lonely during that time, even though he had his brother to hang with. He had just wanted Italy back with him.

Germany looked down at Italy as he remembered the most recent time they got back together. They had hugged and both of them were crying, for they didn't want to lose each other again.

Germany lifted one hand and put it on Italy's face, slowly caressing it. Italy opened his eyes to clearly look at Germany. They smiled at each other. 'Italy' Germany said 'I love you very much.' 'I love you too Germany.' Italy said giggling a bit. Germany rolled his eyes at the giggles and pulled Italy into a kiss.
