“Happy Birthday crazy.” Said Amy.
“Thanks. Well, do you have your clothes ready?’ said Julia.
“Yep. When is everyone coming?”
“About 4. My mom said she had a surprise for me but she never told me what it was. I really don’t like surprises.”
“Ok. Neither do I.”
So Julia and Amy walked to the house. Once everyone got there they had cake then started opening gifts. When she got to her parents present she didn’t see another gift.
“Mom, whats my gift from you and dad?” said Juia.
“Julia, your going to have a baby sister or brother!” said her mom.
“What! This is so not a present! Ugh!” said Julia as she runs upstairs and slams the door.
“Julia! Wait!” said her mom.
Julia’s mom got to Julia’s door.
“Open the door. I need to know why your so upset” said her mom.
“Go away!”
“No. Julia, open the door. Now!”
“You want to know why I’m so upset? Its because I wanted to be the only child. I never wanted a baby brother or sister because they would get all the attention. Not me.”
“Honey. Calm down. I promise you that you will get the same amount of attention the baby will get. You can even name it one they tell us the gender of it.”
Julia opens the door.
“I can?” said Julia.
“Yes now go have fun with your friends.” Said Julia’s mom.
“Okay.”
So it gets dark and everyone goes home except Amy. Amy and Julia get ready for bed.
The Next Day…
“Morning Girls.” Said Julia’s mom.
“Morning. Whats for breakfast?” said Julia and Amy.
“Your choice. I can make anything for you two.”
“I’d like my 2 waffles with syrup. Side bowl of strawberrys.”
“Ok. Amy what would you like?”
“I’d like frosted flakes because I have soccer practice with Julia.” Said Amy.
“Ok. I’ll get cooking!”
“Amy, lets go get dressed for soccer.”
“Ok.”
“Girls?”
“Yes?” the girls say at the same time and start giggling.
