The pounding of footsteps grew near.
Stray bullets sprayed through the overgrown vegetation which was on my side.
The sound of dogs barking and people shouting orders made me run even faster.
I neared a break in the vegetation.
The sound of rushing water filled my ears.
I was trapped with no way to go but down.
The people entered the clearing pointing their guns at me telling me to surrender.
But I rather die than submit to them.
I took one step back seeing the cliff I was on getting farther away.
