My Online, Older Love

Chapter 1

I was on my kik app and I saw that Daniel hasn't talked to me. I sighed but ignored it and got ready for school. I got my clothes which was a pair of blue ripped jeans, over-sized white sweatshirt, blood red tank top under the sweatshirt, black combat boots. I then put on foundation and light coats of eyeliner and mascara.

"Amy, eat then brush your teeth!! Your going to be late for school!!" I heard mom yell to me. I sighed at walked up stairs and ate an apple.

"Okay mom. I am done." I said after I was done brushing my teeth. I got my bag and my purse and walked back up the stairs to see her sitting on the couch with her dogs on her lap.

"Bus is almost here. You need to go outside and wait." She said looking at me. I smiled awkwardly. She was acting like a mom and I'm not use to it.

"Bye." I said walking out the door without having my mom answer me.

We haven't really been getting along after my dad left a few months ago. I usually avoid my mom and get ready without her help by telling me if I was late or not. I think she is trying to talk to me but I won't have it.

He left because my mom wasn't the one and he moved to a completely different state on the other side of USA. He completely packed up everything of his and left. I miss him and he doesn't try to talk to me and that upsets me so much.

I walked to the end of my driveway and waited for the bus to come. I stood there and felt my phone vibrate in my back pocket. I took it out and saw I had a new kik message. I opened it and saw it was Daniel. I smiled and read it.

'Hey Love. Sorry I haven't been responding lately. I have so many final exams to do in the next week and I have to study.'

'It's okay Daniel. You don't have to respond right away. I hope you have fun studying :)'

'I won't because you will be taking up my mind while I am trying to focus.'

I smiled at that and then I heard the bus coming down the road.

'You are such a flirt.'

'Only for you Love ;)'

':) I don't want to go to school.'

I sent that and got on the bus. I saw a few of my friends on and I smiled at them and sat down in my seat next to them.

'Why? Will I be taking up your thinking process too?'

'Maybe...'

'Have fun in school Love. I will message you after I am done studying.'

'Okay. Pay attention to your notes. Talk to you later.'

'Bye Love.'

I locked my phone and saw my best friend of all time, Rebecca listening to her music. I rolled my eyes and plugged my earbuds in my phone and picked my most favorite band of all time, Imagine Dragons.

I started listening to It's Time. I love that song and same with Radioactive, Demons, Tiptoe, and On Top Of The World. They are such good songs. I closed my eyes and thought about meeting Daniel when I get older.

"Amy. Can I sit with you?" I heard a voice that I haven't heard spoken to me directly in forever. I nod and scoot closer to the window.

"Morning Andrew. How are you?" I asked pulling out one of my earbuds.

"Morning. I'm great. How are you?" He asked.

"Like usual. Ordinary as ever and having problems at home still." I said.

"You do know if you need to talk, I'm here for you." He said. I smiled and nodded.

"Thanks." I said. He nodded and looked out the front of the bus.
