I was teasing him about not being able to sleep tonight because of me, and here I am. Not being able to sleep because of HIM. Ironic.
I continue tossing and turning, sighing. I'm too worried about what will happen tomorrow.
He never called me... I hope he's okay. Shit. Forget about Saeran for a minute! I need to sleep. Just close your eyes... Worry about tomorrow TOMORROW, not NOW.
I close my eyes again, desperately trying to sleep.
And failing.

I struggled to stay awake on the walk to school, tightly clutching our essay in my hands.
Fuck... What if I pass out on the way to school? What if I do and then the paper doesn't get in on time? Mrs. Costa didn't give us a due date, but still! She probably wants them both together. What if we get a failing grade? God, what will happen to my English grade? I can't focus like this! Okay. Calm down.
I try to relax as the school building appears in my vision. Gathering my scattered thoughts, I quickly enter the school and make my way to Mrs. Costa's room, focusing only on submitting the paper in time.
"Mrs. Costa?"
She was sitting at her desk. Her face lit up slightly when she saw me. She's such a sweet woman, especially since she likes me despite me being such an asshole to her.
"I have the essay for the project."
"Hello, (Y/n). Yes, Saeran told me you'd be coming. He brought the posterboard. It looks beautiful, by the way."
I blush and look away, holding the essay out to her. "Thank you."
"Did you enjoy yourself?"
"What?" I glance back up at her to see her studying me intently.
"It's not much of a project if you don't have fun doing it." She laughs.
I pause to think about it before smiling. "Yeah. I did."
"I'm glad to hear it." Mrs. Costa returns my grin for a moment before glancing at the clock. "You'd best get to homeroom, Miss (L/n). The bell should ring soon."
"Right, thank you. See you in English." I quickly leave the room, sighing in relief after I was far away from the awkward atmosphere. I slowly made my way to my locker, attempting to unlock it quite a few times.
I'm too distracted.
I feel familiar arms wrap around me.
That's not helping.
"Hi."
"Hey." Saeran rests his chin on my head, something I've become familiar with and found rather comforting.
"I handed in the essay to Mrs. C."
"Good." I feel him watching my hands as I attempt my combination a sixth time.
"Why do you want to know my locker combination?"
He lets go of me and moves into my line of vision, leaning back against the locker next to mine. "I mean, we're dating now, aren't we? Isn't that something you're supposed to know?"
I smile at the thought. "True." I refuse to look at him directly and instead focus on the lock in front of me. "I wouldn't lean there, if I were you. What if she comes to her locker?"
Saeran scoffs. "Oh, please, princess. Homeroom is in 2 minutes. Everyone is there already."
I finally get my locker open. "Why aren't you?"
