Lily Collins as Scarlett

It was disturbing. Alicia followed him all around at school. Repeating the same thing again and all over again, "Hey, I found the nurse's house!"

Annoyed, Aiden flipped his notebook to the middle before writing down, "Look, I can't talk to you here, meet me at my house later." Thankfully, Alicia got the message and poofed right away.

The cheerleader sitting next to him glanced over at the note he wrote. She laughed loudly. "Guys! Aiden is writing a note to his imaginary friend!"

The whole class laughed as well, drawing Mrs Hopkins' attention to her.

"Yes, Natasha? Is there a problem?" Mrs Hopkins asked when the girl yelled in the middle of the class. Natasha looked taken back, to which Aiden chuckled. "If there is anything you would like to share, please come to the front."

"No, teacher." Natasha shook her head and huffed as soon as Mrs Hopkins turned her attention back to the class. "You will pay for this." She glared at Aiden and he shrugged with a smile. Natasha's empty threats is nothing unusual to him by now.

As always, Aiden walks himself home. The day was quite exhausting, he decided to stop by the cafe to get a drink on his way home.

Walking through the streets, he was shocked when he saw a familiar man standing near the cafe block. It is the supposedly Grim Reaper, but he didn't dress in black at the moment. He had a grey shirt and jeans on. He looked normal and nothing mysterious when he was only scrolling on his phone, the frightening aura he has didn't circulate around him anymore.

Aiden shook his head quickly when he realized he was staring. He was slightly panicked when Jason was looking at his direction and he quickly turned around, ready to walk away.

But a force was pulling him to walk to where the man was standing and he couldn't control it. It was the same like a force yesterday night when he couldn't look away.

"We meet again, human."

"You used your power on me!" He said when he came face-to-face with the man, and he noticed two girls who were watching were in complete shock. "I was only a couple steps away from you. You could have called out."

"I'm pretty sure you were about to run the other way." Jason replied and Aiden noticed the ghost of a chuckle he had in his tone that he was trying to control.

"But still, people could have seen!"

"There is nobody here." Jason's eyebrow was slightly raised and Aiden breathed out a snicker. "Look behind you."

Jason turned around at that, seeing the two shocked girls. He took a few steps closer to the girls, catching their eyes in his as he whispered. "You will forget what you saw and walk away."

The girls were immediately calmed down and got back to their chitchat as they walked away.

"Settled." Jason shifted his attention back to Aiden, realizing he was only talking to himself when the school boy was missing from the spot where he stood.

Aiden panted harshly as he took a turn to hide himself in the alley. He held his stomach, trying to catch his rapid breath. He is not used to long-distance sprint but he needed to get away from the man.
