The Forbidden Land

"Yosei it's time to get up," says my energetic little sister Sashimi.
"Ugh fine," I reply dragging myself out of bed.
"Don't ugh me, it's mom and dad who want to see you Yosei," complains Sashimi.
"Oh! I have to get ready for the meeting with the high council!" I exclaim.
"The high who now?" Sashimi asks confused.
"Never mind that, just get out so I can get ready!" I say pushing her out of my room. I sigh and rush through my closet.
"Aha!" I say finding my white lace gown. I put my hair in it's usual bun with my purple flower comb in it. I slip into my dress and slippers and straighten my silver princess crown.
"Oops, almost forgot my dust," I say sprinkling my blue fairy dust onto my wings.
I fly out my doorway and into the council room.
"Ah princess Yosei, your here" says one of the council members.
"I heard of urgent matters that we need to discuss," I say.
"That is correct Yosei," says my father stepping forward.
"Do you know of the forbidden land?" asks my mother stepping out beside him.
"I believe so, were they not those fairy tales you told me of?" I ask.
"Yes they were," she replies.
"The portal into that land has been opened and we would like to send you on a mission there," says my father.
"But father, there could be dangerous beings there!" I exclaim.
"That is why we're sending Liz with you," says my father.
"You called your majesty?" says Liz flying down. Liz is my childhood friend, she has light purple hair and yellow eyes and she's very protective of me.
"Liz, you must go with our daughter to the forbidden land," say my mother and father in unison.
"It would be an honor," she says.
We both curtesy and fly towards the portal. When we get there we hold hands as we step in it and we see a bright light as we go through. My wings and gown disappear, along with my crown and all of Liz's things too. The only thing remaining are clothes of the commoners, our purses, and my family hair pin.
Is this how my journey will begin?
What will we find in this world, friends, love, lessons, or maybe heartbreak and responsibility?
Will we become different people?
Maybe it's the end or maybe it's the beginning, we'll find out soon enough. I smile at my complicated thoughts and feel confident in anything coming my way. Look out land princess Yosei is coming for you!
