I'm not the sexiest guy out there, but I am pretty sexy if I so myself. I'm on the lacrosse team, but I sit on the bench all the time because coach knows I'll slam the face of everyone on the other team. I'm one of the smartest guys in all of town, but noone listens to me because of how arrogant they are. I'll admit I'm not one of the bravest guys in town, but I am one of the most romantic. So imagine my reaction when I hear:
"You've got to be joking, Stiles." Molly rolled her brown eyes as she closed her locked.
--On second thought, don't imagine my reaction.
I blinked, gaping. "What? What's wrong with my idea?"
Molly sighed moving a stray, brown hair. She looked down, pursing her lips as she thought. "Well, first off. She'd have to be drunk to enjoy your little... idea."
"Ugh." I blinked again. "She has a good sense of humor."
Molly looked back at her locker. "Well, you're Stiles, not Derek, not Isaac. Truth be told, Isaac is a little more romantic than you, and he's well... Isaac."
I shook my head. "Wait. We're talking about me."
"Exactly."
I rolled my eyes. "Just because you have a little thing for Derek doesn't mean Bree and I aren't together."
"I still can't believe that happened." Molly looked me over and walked down the hall pulling out her keys.
I quickly followed her. "Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey!" I scrambled to stand in front of her, almost losing my balance. "Just tell me if she'll like it. Valentine's Day is tomorrow, so I need to know now."
Molly let out a deep breath, her shoulders falling. "It's a good idea."
I grinned. "Cool."
"But not good enough."
I blinked. "What?"
"You're asking me, her best friend if this is a good idea. If I were you, I wouldn't make it good. I'd make it grand." Molly smiled and walked out of the school.
I quickly folowed her again. "But then what should I do?"
Molly stopped and took a deep breath.
"Come on. You'd bolt to save a beta from being killed by another hunter. Wouldn't you bolt for make sure your best friend had the best valentine's day?"
Molly's eyes shifted.
"Come on, in return I'll help you with something."
Molly's rolled her eyes and grinned. "Like what?"
I grinned. "Your valentine's day."

I drove to Derek's loft and parked. I looked around for Molly, but then I remember she was Red Hood the Wolf Hunter. Well, Wolf Paralyzer. Anyway, I took a deep breath, wishing myself luck. I slowly made my way inside the loft, opening the door cautiously. I took another deep breath before I opened the last door before I would see Bree. It was just a crack open when I heard Bree's voice.
"Stiles?" Bree asked from the other side of the door.
I blinked. "Y-yeah." I let out a small laugh. "That's me." I opened the door. "I was going to knock, but... you heard me before I did. And I figured Derek would know why I was here." I laughed nervously.
Bree laughed as she walked towards me. "You didn't have to worry about that. It's Valentine's Day. Derek's out in the woods, avoiding girls looking for him." She grinned as she stood in front of me. "And Peter is a having a ball flirting with every woman at the convenience store."
I smiled widely. "Does that mean..." I laughed nervously again, as I looked down. I looked at Bree's eyes and felt my heart slow a bit. "Does that mean that we could... spend tonight together?"
Bree paused and slowly smiled. "I didn't tell you that someone asked me to be their Valentine!?"
I grinned. "Sarcasm. I love it."
Bree grinned and held my hand. "I would hope so." She kissed me and I froze. She grinned and started walking out. "So where are we going?"
I blinked and followed her. "You'll-you'll see."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"I'm glad this place is empty." I grinned. "You know... just the two of us." I looked over at the counter of the pizza place, seeing the guy nervously look at a hidden Molly. I could imagine her whispering to him, "Don't turn that sign to open."
Bree smiled and rested her head on my shoulder. "Yeah. This is pretty cool. I like that it's just us, even if that guy over there is scared out of his mind."
I smiled and rested my head on Bree's head. "Beautiful girls make guys nervous."
Bree let out a small laugh as she playfully rolled her eyes. "I'm not a beautiful girl. I'm not even pretty."
I paused and moved away from Bree, looking at her. "Yes, you are."
Bree shook her head as she looked away. "Stiles, I--"
"No. I mean it." I looked down at her hand and held it. "Bree, look at me."
Bree sighed and did as I said.
I locked my eyes with hers. "When I say you're beautiful, I mean it. When I say I love you, I mean it. You might not think that you are, but I sure as hell know you are."
Bree blinked.
I took a deep breath and went on. "You said that you're blond. When I look at your hair, I see gold. You said that you're broken and imperfect. When I look at you, I just see a lonely little princess, who is waiting for a knight to come. This princess wants saving, not from just a monster or some sort of demon or any of that shit. You want saving from yourself, your own thought and doubts." I leaned closer. "And I can help you with that. I WANT to help you with that."
Bree's eyes were wide as she stared at me. She closed her eyes and buried her face in my chest. "You're right... I am broken... But I'm not a princess. I'm a monster that doesn't deserve any sort of praise. In my life, I'm broken, everything's broken. And I don't know how to fix it."
I stroked her hair. "There's no need to fix it. It's perfect. You just need to face it." I smiled and kissed the top of her head. "I can hold your hand while you do that."
"Stiles?"
"Yeah?"
"I love you."
I smiled. "I love you too. Happy Valentine's Day, Bree."
Bree let out a small laugh and sniffled. "Thank you... Happy Valentine's Day."
I blinked and gaped as I saw Molly silently walking towards me with a box of chocolates. I stroked Bree's hair, gently pressing her face against my chest. "Uh, Bree..."
Bree sniffled again. "What?"
"I know this is late, but..." I reached for the box of chocolates. "Uh..." I waited stalled for Molly to disappear. "I, uh..."
"What?" Bree pulled back, looking into my eyes.
I smiled and pulled the chocolates into her view. "Will you be my Valentine?"
