CHAPTER 1
Casey walked down the quiet school hallway,
I'm late again, she thought. She's been late for the past few days. Every single morning she wakes up is filled with pain.
Her mom and dad are always arguing now, about their jobs, and their life. So far, Casey doesn't really have a life, she just goes to high school alone. No friends to talk to, nobody to hang out with, she just an outcast.
Casey goes to Lincoln Memorial High, she lives in Pennsylvania in a neighborhood called East Bay. Her school is definitely a tough one. Like any other high school, it has the bullies, jocks, and those mean girls who always think there better than you. Casey hates the populars, with all their groups and gangs. Boys are dumb, no, school is dumb, she thought as she walked past a group of jocks. They were all huddled around a small freshman. The boy was jumping up and down, trying to grab his backpack. Then suddenly, one of the jocks(the one who was holding the backpack)dumped all of the kids's supplies out on the floor. The boy scrambled to the floor, trying to clean up his things...
While the jocks started to go away they spotted Casey and glared at her. What did I do?, she thought. Casey walked over to the freshman. Surprisingly the guy looked a little worried and scared when Casey walked over to him.
"Hello, I'm Casey. Are you new here?"she asked.
"Ya, I'm relocating from Wintersberg High. My names Logan."
"Cool, do you need some help, finding your classes?" Casey said.
"Oh, no I'm fine, I can figure it out."
"Okay, see ya later."
"Bye, and thanks for the offer, I really appreciate it." Logan said.
"No problem, bye."
Well, at least I've made a friend, I think, Casey thought...
