Skylar frowned, her heart racing as he pulled her against him. His arms wrapped around her tightly and she sighed, surprised by how protective his hold seemed on her. She couldn't see his face, as she was facing away from him but she knew he was smirking.
It took her a moment but she managed to get out of his grasp and turn back towards him.
"Aw, C'mon Sky." He complained, trying to grab onto her again, but she moved away. He just sighed, rolling his eyes at her. "Still scared?"
"I am not scared." Skylar snapped, crossing her arms over her chest. Well, she wasn't scared anymore. Just extremely annoyed. How dare he think she was just another one of his play things! She didn't even want to be his partner, let alone another one of his one night stands! "And don't call me Skylar." She added, her tone fierce. Just because he treated other girls like this, did not mean he was going to do it to her. She turned away from him and started to walk towards the door. His voice stopped her.
"Prove it." Alex challenged, making her body tense as she realized just what she was getting herself into. She turned back to look at him and raised an eyebrow, wanting him to elaborate further. "Prove to me your not scared."
"I don't have to prove anything to you." She told him, her tone even and final.
"Oh, but you do Sky. You see, you're just that type of person." He sighed, looking at her with such seriousness, it made her blood boil. "Look, there's a party tonight in some fancy house across town. If you aren't scared of that kind of thing, or of me. Would you like to go with me?"
She was taken back by his question. She had never been to a party, never had even a sip of alcohol, never danced like they do at parties. Putting all of that aside, she looked at him, seeing sincerity in his eyes.
"What's in it for you?" She asked suspiciously. He just plastered a stupid grin onto his face that made her want to smile too. She just bit her lip and waited for his brilliant answer. (Note the sarcasm)
"I get to see you drunk." He replied, still grinning at her. Rolling her eyes, she made a promise to herself in her head. She would not get drunk.
"What's in it for me?" She asked, taking out a piece of paper and scribbling her address and her phone number on it, but not handing it to him yet.
"Proof." He stated as if it was obvious. She let the paper drop to the floor and walked out, only looking back once to see him pick up the paper and smile that cocky smile of his. When she climbed into her truck, she frowned, knowing she had just agreed to go to a party with the school's player.
Great.
Maybe she would need some alcohol tonight.

Skylar stood in front of her mirror, looking at her outfit.
Earlier she had called Kaitlyn and told her how it had gone with Alex. As soon as Skylar had said hello, Kaitlyn had demanded details. She had spilled everything about the encounter, leaving out how she had felt around Alex.
Well, what was she supposed to tell her best friend? "I'm falling for the bad boy" wasn't going to sit well with Kaitlyn. "I'm going to a party with him" wouldn't sit well either. So, she also left that out. Well she had tried to.
"Your what?!" Kaitlyn had screeched into the phone when Skylar had told her about the party.
"I have to Kate. It's the only way I can prove that I am not scared of him and then we can get along with the project." She told her friend, wincing when Kate screeched at her. She didn't mind though. Only because she knew Kate was just worried about her. It was sort of comforting.
"What if he tries to kiss you or get your clothes off?" She asked, a hint of awkwardness in her voice.
"I wont let him. I'm just going to try and survive the night. I'll bring my phone and if I need you, I'll call you and you can come pick me up. Okay?" She asked, hoping she had provided some comfort for Kaitlyn.
"Okay." Kaitlyn agreed, sighing softly. It was the best Skylar could do. She had to go to this party.
So, here she stood. Assessing her outfit.
Skylar was wearing a pair of maroon-colored jeans and a black t-shirt with some detail on the front. Her black velvet shoes had some heel to them but not much. Her hair was in waves that fell past her shoulders. As for make up, she had settled with some soft pink lipstick, black eyeliner and mascara.
I dont look half bad, she thought before, grabbing her phone and her bag as she walked outside, going to wait on the front step for Alex.

Alex's P.O.V.
Alex bent down to pick up the piece of paper she had dropped and looked up to see her walking away and driving off in that truck of hers. He had known she would fall for the whole 'prove that your not scared' bit. People like her usually did.
He couldn't wait to make her reputation crumble to pieces.
Tonight he would get Skylar to do something extremely stupid and she would have to live the rest of her high school life, knowing she had fallen for the bad boy.
It would be interesting to see her fall for him like every other girl.
Skylar was just another stuck up, goody- goody, rich chick who didn't know the first thing about hard work or poverty. So, he planned to ruin her.
And his plans always worked.
He threw on a black v-neck shirt, and some jeans before hopping on his motorcycle and driving to the address written on the piece of paper, making sure he didn't lose the slip of paper as he figured he might need it later.
If his plan worked.
When he finally got there, Skylar was sitting on the front step, playing on her phone. When she saw him, she stood up and just stared at the motorcycle, with an expression that clearly said it would take a lot to get her on it.
This was going to be a long night.

Hello my wonderful, amazing readers! I'm sorry it took me so long to update. To be honest, it took me a really long time to decide what Skylar was going to wear to this party. This chapter is definitely longer than the other ones and I truly hope you enjoy it!
I am always completely open to suggestions!
Okay, so I apologize if Alex's P.O.V. is terrible. After all, I am a chick and I have trouble writing from a guy's perspective but I really wanted his perspective in this chapter so that's what I did. I'm truly sorry if you hate it.
I also have a new story called "A Winter Love"! So, if you like my writing, you should read it. I figured a bad boy story was kind of cliché so I decided to write something different! I hope you love it!
