Laura's POV.
I sat in the new house wondering what else to put in it. I could hear my dad and older brother John checking off the list for the family room.
"t.v?"
"check."
"fake plants?"
"check."
"sofas?"
"check."
I sighed my mother was in the kitchen putting the pots and pans away. the Move was tough but as a family we got through it. it wad the second week in the new house and we were finally done transfering all our furniture and stuff.
"I'm going to my room." I announced. My dad was the only one who responded.
"alright but don't take too long dinner will be ready soon." I ran up the stairs to my room and shut the door. posters of my favorite bands shattered all over my wall. I had a world map that pointed out all the cities that I wanted to visit.
"New York ,LA,Miami,Berlin..."I mumbled. scanning my fingers along the map I stopped at London. grabbing a sparkling pink pen I checked it off my list. we had just moved to London and it wasn't bad. the neighbors were nice at least. I heard a knock on my door.
"Come in." I answerd not moving from my spot.
"Laura come on dinners ready." John said opening the door wide open.
"Okay." I said getting up.
"What is it anyway?"
"Mom orderd Chinese." John seemed amused. "She didn't want to use the kitchen yet. She kind of wants to panit it."
"Oh." I smirked. Mom always wants everything to be perfect before she gets things done. It's a big things of hers. At the table my parents did most of the talking. Dad was mostly talking about how his new job was going while mom went on about decorating the house a little more. Me and John just stayed quiet untill dad mentioned school.
"It starts tommorrow aren't you exited?"
"What?" Me and John asked simutaneously.
"School does." Mom answerd eyeing us both.
"Oh Yeah i'm defenitly ready." John smirked.
"Me too." I croaked, smiling. The truth is i'm not ready. I miss eyeveryone back a bradford and to tell you the truth it sucks. Even My american Life was better that this. Yes I've always wanted to visit London. But not Permanently. Now i have to start all over make new friends and be known as the new girl on the block. After dinner we washed up and soon retreated to our rooms expept for dad who went to the family room to watch football. I shut the door of my room and stuck my noise in a book for a while. Afterward i set my alarm clock, prayed and went to bed. I'm just hopping that tommorrow won't be a bad first day.
