Oh, Miss Believer, my pretty sleeper

Your twisted mind is like snow on the road

Your shaking shoulders prove that it's colder

Inside your head than the winter of dead

You sang softly into the dark night. Glancing up at the moon you smiled and continued with the next verse of the song.

I will tell you I love you

But the muffs on your ears will cater your fears

My nose and feet are running as we start

To travel through snow

Together we go

Together we go

You closed your eyes as you settled down on the roots of a large weeping willow tree. Relaxing against the trunk of the tree you continued singing in a soft voice. As you started the third verse a second voice joined you in singing making you trail off. The voice continued to sing softly in a low rich tone making you shiver at the amount of emotion in it.

We get colder

As we grow older

We will walk

So much slower

Opening your eyes you sat up and glanced around looking for the owner of the second voice. Unable to find the owner of the second voice you shrugged and leaned against the weeping willow figuring that the owner of the second voice was most likely someone who was a ways off and was taking a midnight walk like you, heard you and decided to join you in singing. Taking a deep breath you began singing again when the second voice started the fourth verse of the song.

Oh, Miss Believer, my pretty weeper

Your twisted thoughts are like snow on the rooftops

Please, take my hand, we're in foreign land

As we travel through snow

Together we go

Together we go

Standing up, you smiled to yourself and began to slowly move your body in time with your voice and the low voice of the person who was singing with you. You slowly danced underneath the weeping willow your voice rising and lowering in perfect harmony with your singing partner.

We get colder

As we grow older

We will walk

So much slower

As you danced in the moonlight singing a shadow stepped out from behind the weeping willow and leaned against it watching you while singing alongside you. It watched as you gracefully spun around and leaped around the small clearing the branches the weeping willow tree provided. After a few moments of watching you dance, the shadow silently walked forward as you came to a standstill simply swaying side to side.

A soft and hesitant hand slid into yours and you softly gasped as a second hand gently placed itself on your waist. You felt hot breath on your ear and you shivered as the owner of the second voice began to sing softly in your ear.

I know

Where you stand
