A girl and A Boy
The girl cried tears of blood
The boy gave her sunglasses to blind her from the hate in the world
The girl could not see through the sunglasses
The boy sought this as an opportunity
He swept her off her feet and lied through his teeth and said the words
“I love you”
The girl thought this was true
They spent their days crossing eachother's paths
And then one day he couldn't hold his grasp
The sunglasses blocked her from his dirty hands carving pain through her skin
She couldn't see but she could feel the violation of his destination
She threw off the sunglasses and instead of a boy who loved her she saw a monster who lusted her
That's how she learned the hard way
True love was too good to be true
