"You honestly expect me to keep YOUR son under control here?"

Mellesse asked, a look of disbelief on her face as she asked. How was she supposed to do what was asked of her?

"I do expect you to do so. I am the principal, so either you can do what was asked, or you can be expelled..."

He only smirked, showing that what he said, he actually meant. Sighing in defeat, Mellesse nodded her head, not wishing to argue, knowing her fate if she did.

"Yes sir, I'll show him around."

Despite her want to return to her usual scheduled program, she got over it. Either way, her life wouldn't be the same. Pulling at her skirt, she walked towards the principal's son, grabbing his hand and quickly leading him out of the office, slamming the door shut, making both the principal and his son jump.

"Name?"

She asked annoyed, achieving a smirk from the boy, his shy demeanor changing.

"Collins Knight sweetie. But you can call me whatever you like."

This reply only earned an eye roll and some crossed arms from Mellesse. Great, she was stuck with a combination of what seemed like a bad boy and player.

"Names Mellesse, friends call me Mel...Well they would if I had friends."

She explained, once again becoming annoyed with this boys attitude towards her. Walking out of the entire area all together, the two entered the hall, bumping into the one person that Mellesse wished she hadn't, Logan. The only thing she could think was, 'Just great.' Why did badethings only happen to her? The brunette looked up, seeing Mellesse and Collins.

"Are you new?"

Logan asked the blonde haired boy who nodded.

"My name is Logan Boldcap."

"Mine is Collins Knight."

"Knight...As in the principal?"

"Exactly like the principal."

"Okay, that's enough, come on Collins, I'll show you around."

Mellesse cut in, grabbing Collins by the arm and hurrying away from Logan. One thing was certain, things were going to change between her and those two boys.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Three days, that's how long she had endured the torture of showing Collins around and his endless flirting. Mellesse was on the verge of breaking and it got on her nerves, the fact that she was practically helpless. Every last class, teachers sat him next to her, understanding the circumstances she had been put under. Constantly her eyes would twitch in annoyance, already feeling ill from his useless attempts to aweep her off her feet. Although it was quite often Collins would catch her staring off into the distance, he still hadn't found out what fascinated her so.

This worked in her favor, making it so not a single soul knew of her feelings for Logan. What a lucky duck she was? Then again, she wasn't, since everytime she'd look over her shoulder, you can guess who was there. Yep, Collins. He had become this leech, always on her back as though his life depended on it. How was it fair you might ask? Well, it wasn't. She got stuck with someone she wished she hadn't and now look at where she was at, stuck babysitting the poor kid all because his father was too lazy to.

"Get off of me!!!"

Mellesse practically yelled, having snapped from his annoying behavior.
Startled by her sudden outburst, Collins quickly stepped back, trying to make sense of what he had done, considering most girls pushed their selves onto him, but not Mellesse. Maybe that was why he desired her more and more? Or maybe because she was just downright gorgeous. For crying out loud, he didn't even know. In his mind, he wanted to know how this was fair, being paired with a beautiful girl and she just outright hates him...Just how was it possible?
