So here I am, walking on my school's science department hallway with my earphones on - listening to music. Well, I do hope so, but my phone went flat a couple of minutes ago. Instead of listening to music, I can't avoid listening to what people – mostly girls - have to comment about me like "Ewww, who is he? Does he even know how to fix his hair? He looks so nerdy and look at those ugly wonky teeth with braces. Just ew." Yeah, that's not really it. What they're saying are "Ohhh~ he's so hot', 'His hair fits him perfectly', and 'Aww... bite me please." Yeah sorry that's not it again. They didn't say anything. I'm not popular, I'm just a normal high school student living his life full of clichés.
I wish I can tell you a story like Bite-my-tongue-off-baby kind of romance story, or this-is-totally-unique-comedy story, or new-10-ways-of-torture horror movie but no, sorry. This will be all full of clichés not even worth mentioning but I'll write a book for it anyways. Did I just say 'I'? I meant the author. He's uhh... Not me.
"Wait!" A girl behind me shouted, so me - being polite, kept walking. Yeah be grateful, I normally run. "I said wait!" She caught up with me and rest her left hand on my shoulder.
Great, she's got hold of my shoulder now, I should do some karate or whatever technique so that I could knee her gut then tell the Human Resource "Gender Equality, I thought she was going to harass me". I thought, but I didn't do it because it'll take too much effort. I'll be waiting in the Human Resource office, waiting hours and hours for my parents to arrive which means I'll be missing 2 to 4 hours of free time at home instead of watching movies, social media and gaming.
Looking back at the previous incident where I tried to pop what I thought was a balloon under Steves clothes on his belly using a pen before he started crying, I might be grounded for a couple of months again.
"Hey I.. I.. I finally..... caught up" You weren't that far.
I slowly turned my sleepy face towards the girl behind me that a couple of seconds ago would have been lying on the floor while holding her belly. Yo, I replied.
"There's not even a hello?" She asked. Oh. I thought I said Yo.
"Yo." There it is.
"I'll start again" uhmmm okay "I'm Cheene Maxpein and I have been in love with you Drew!" She then vowed her head with her arms up, handing me a wrapped box, hopefully a box full of movies and games but surely is full of chocolates.
(Note: I don't know how to pronounce Cheene)
But it's too bad if it's full of games "I'm not Drew. My name's Griffin, Griffin Stokes. You got the wrong guy" How could you even fall in love with a person then mistook someone as that person? What is wrong with this girl? She's weirder than me.
"You- you're not Drew?" Didn't you hear me?
"Didn't you hear me?"
"I did, just making sure. Well the truth is my best friend really like this guy named Drew, but I haven't even met the guy. She insisted me to say those words that I told you and give you the box full of new released video games. I don't even know why she wanted to give video games, I mean, if I were her I'll give him some homemade chocolates, so he can appreciate my effort and be with him and marry him and make a family with him. My skin will be saggy by then so when he's at work he'll meet a better-looking lady then they'll hook up in the office and divorce me and-and-and-waaaahhhh"
...
Who asked you to explain? And why did you start crying all of a sudden?
It would have been fine if you just said sorry then awkwardly walk away after giving me the box as a compensation for wasting my time. I would have just called you a weirdo for as long as I will remember you. Not so bad right? But now, whenever I think of you, I'll be calling you Weirdoer in my mind because you're weirder than me.
Get it?
I gave you a chance and you wasted it.
" Sigh.." I'll just walk away.
"Wait! *Sob sob*" What now? "So- sorry for wasting your time. "He- here, take this" she handed me the box.
'Isn't this your best friend's gift for that unlucky guy Drew?' Is what I thought I should say but nah. So thankfully before I don't say what I'm never going to say, I started walking away with my NEW video games. She said "She- she bought that with my money anyway so it's alright if I give it away. So- sorry again. Bye"
"Ok." And there she went, wiping her tears that ran down her cheeks, to neck, to the thing.
The clothes.
Anyways, it's thanks to her wasting my time that I got to play 4 new video games. I hope this happens again.......
And it did.
The second time, a girl named, uhmm - I forgot, but she gave me 3 new Blu-ray disk movies that barely got me through a night.
Well that wasn't so cliché. Are you going to keep track of my daily interactions? You already know that this is a bad story because I'm talking to you. It's like turning off a girl that likes you by punching her in the gut, okay that was not a good metaphor, but you laughed, if not then please laugh.
Eh, I don't really care.
NOTES: Some apostrophes are missing because wattpad keeps on removing them. She loves me so much she wants me to suffer.
