Nobody's POVJake lays in the bed for a few hours, waiting until all of the commotion in the house silences. After that, he waits a little longer. He doesn't hear anything, so he gets up, opens the door and peeps out into the dark hallway. Coast is clear so he locks his door and opens his window to a thick, cold breeze, giving his body goosebumps. He rubs his bare arms and observes his room for a minute, silently listening just to make sure that everyone in the house was asleep. He rubs his eyes harshly and makes his way over to the bed, taking a seat. Jake reaches between his legs and retrieves a shoe box from underneath bed out between his ankles. He opens the shoe box and takes out his stash jar, twisting the top off and inhaling the sweet scent that he was all too familiar with. He took out a bud and he kissed it before picking up his grinder, and he went to work with it. He took a razor and cautiously cut the blunt lengthwise, emptying the tobacco from the middle. Jacob wet the wrap and filled it up, rolling it between his fingertips to pack the blunt evenly. He took out his lighter and sealed the blunt perfectly. After Jake rolled his blunt the way he liked, he held it between his index and middle finger, putting it up to his lips and lighting it up. He then switched to his index finger and thumb, inhaling the sweet smoke and closing his eyes. He hit it a few times before he felt his whole body start to relax.
"Fuck you doin'?! I'm telling momma, Bitch ass dude."
Jake choked and opened his eyes, glancing at the locked door, and then the open window to see his younger twin brother Justin sticking his head in the window. He was fully dressed like he had just come from somewhere he wasn't supposed to be, because the doors to the house locked at eleven thirty every night, and it was damn near three o'clock. It was the house rules, and both Jacob and Justin knew that.
Jake was coughing so hard that he started drooling. He almost dropped his blunt.
"Smells good in here. I like what you've done with the place, Jake....." Justin continued, lying down on his stomach in the grass. He stuck his feet in the window and shimmied himself into the basement. He hopped down and took off his jacket, sitting it on the computer chair and smacking Jacob upside his head.
