Between Love and Friendship

This is a short fanfiction. A story about Jiyong and Youngbae and their a decade old friendship. I wrote this two years ago. I hope you'll like it. Please do comment and vote. Enjoy reading!!!

Jiyong and Youngbae entered their training room. Their day usually starts with each of them holding a mop and sweeping the floor. And that day is no different. They looked at each other, smiled, sighed and began working.

They had a lot of memories and fun while cleaning and training as future performers. More than trainees, they are friends, best of friends since they grew up together.

As they are practicing some dance steps, a girl entered the room with one of the managers. "Boys, please meet Eunjee, she'll be training with you." The manager introduced the girl who looks very shy.

"Hello." She shyly greeted.

"Hi." They also greeted. They went back to practice as the girl placed herself in one corner.

While they were busy dancing, Jiyong noticed that the new trainee is busy watching them. "Ya," Jiyong called her. She stood suddenly. "Are you just going to watch us? Aren't you going to practice?" She was embarrassed and joined them with her head low.

She tried to dance along but she's uncomfortable seeing how the two understands each other with the dance steps just with their eyes. Her ending: She's out of sync.

After a day of practice, each of the trainees got their own mop and started cleaning the whole rehearsal room. Because they've been together for a long time, Youngbae and Jiyong have their own way to make the cleaning fun and fast.

Their mops usually cross at the middle of the room but not that day. Eunjee's mop is blocking the way. They looked at her as if asking, 'What the hell are you doing there?'

She retreats. Their mops finally cross ways and they changed places.

After cleaning, the two rested beside the window. They're looking at the building next to their place. Youngbae tapped his friend, "Look. She's there." He pointed to the window where a woman is seen entering her apartment.

They hurriedly rolled some newspapers and used it as their telescopes to see closely the woman they're always looking forward to seeing after trainings.

"Woohoo!" Jiyong said when the woman started to undress. "She's really sexy!"

Eunjee was intrigued with the two is watching. She also looked at the window. They were ashamed with what they're doing so they quickly stopped and walked out. She was left thinking the two boys didn't like her.

Jiyong and Youngbae is making fun of themselves while on their way back to their apartment when they saw Eunjee carrying her luggage.

"Where are you going?" Jiyong asked.

"What's with the luggage?" Youngbae asked after.

As usual, Eunjee's too shy to answer quickly. "I'm transferring to a new apartment." She pointed at the building on their front.

The two looked at each other before they grabbed Eunjee's luggage and brought it. "Let's go." They told her.

She smiled and walked with them.

When they arrived at the apartment, she became sad. The room's dirty and messy.

"You'll live here?" Jiyong asked.

"Ye." Eunjee answered because she had no choice. This is the kind of room that her money can afford.

"This can be cleaned." Youngbae said. "That's we're good at, right?"
