V, a blue haired, depressed, fatherly, independent photographer, was staring at the man who stared back at him through glass. It was a sorry sight. Both men had glasses that hid their partial blindness from the world. V reached up and touched the glass, the mirror image doing the same. He only moved his hand when he heard his friend walk in.
Jumin Han, rich, snobby, blind to the common world, and V's friend, was straightening his tie when he cleared his throat to grab the attention of V's. V spun his head around to lay his eyes upon his caller who had wavy black hair. "V," Jumin sternly said, a hint of concern found in his tone, "I didn't know you were here."
V sighed and smiled reassuringly towards his friend. "Hello Jumin. Yes, I let myself in and I apologize for that. I needed to talk to you." Jumin finished messing with his tie as he raised an eyebrow towards his friend.
"About?" He questioned V, worry beckoning his mind to go into a frantic state. The questioned one smiled, relieving some of his worry.
"It's not an emergency. It's just- It's about the newest member of RFA."
"MC? Has she done something wrong?"
"No no. She's done nothing wrong. In fact, that's what's worrying me. It's been about six days since she's joined and she was doing fine for the first four. But she didn't log on at all yesterday, nor has she even logged on today." Jumin stared, searching in his mind for an answer. Something to ease V'a worry.
"It's possible she's busy, and the day's not over, V. She could still log on." V smiled, comforted. He nodded and looked back towards the mirror.
He would be lying if he said that was all that was bothering him but anymore talk and Jumin would've gone insane. Not even he can know V's plan. Jumin began to take his leave when a small sound of copper hitting the floor was heard.
V, closest to the small object, bended over and picked up the penny. Of course, after feeling around for it. He then attempted to hand it to Jumin. "Here, my friend, you must have dropped this."
Jumin looked at it and laughed. "Haha, as if I'd process such commoner currency. Why don't you keep it, V?" V nodded and pressed the penny into his palm as he closed his hand. Jumin left, on the phone with Jaehee, his assistant and another member of the RFA. V looked back at the mirror.
He sighed, "Rika..." He then walked out of his friend's place and made his way to a graveyard.
It had begun to rain, but it didn't bother him whatsoever. He bought a few flowers from a floral shop and then began to walk down the aisles of tombstones looking for one specific one.
He stopped when he found the one he was looking for.
Rika
The name of his wife engraved upon the stone. He smiled softly as he placed the flowers at her grave and began to pray.
He had just finished and stood up when he heard footsteps on his right. He turned his head and distinguished colors to find Yoosung standing there.
