A Neko, (Japanese for cat,) is a humanoid being with real cat ears, cat tail, and a cat-like sense of behavior. While it isn't entirely possible to be a REAL Neko, cosplaying and Living the "Neko lifestyle" is very common!
Neko Lifestyle?
The Neko lifestyle refers to Acting like a Cat/Neko even when you aren't "Cosplaying." (Cosplaying: Cosplaying means to dress and act like a certain character for conventions or just for fun.) This may mean wearing your neko ears and tail out and about, or just around your house. It could also mean acting slightly "Cat-like." (Bouncing around, purring when happy, playing with bits of string.) Most people prefer to live the Neko lifestyle all the time, (unless of course, it's not allowed,) and Full out cosplay once in awhile. (Full out cosplay may mean wearing a costume to go with your theme/character.)
