The new chapter begins

Keeper has came upon Dandelion high school: home of the Brave Brawlers, to find the perfect red ranger, He sees a red head teen that is doing soccer, His name is "Rex! What did you do this time?!" Said the coach, "I just did some flip kicks with the. balls, and it seemed impossible to do" Rex reasoned with him, "Ok, I want you to get those balls down from the trees! Or else you're gone!" "Yes sir!" Brad was ordered by the coach, and Keeper decided to come to him during his chore before practice ended, "Hello Rex, I see that you are quite good at that sport" he said and Rex freaked out, "What do you want with me? I'm just a nobody" Rex said, "Hmmm, I can tell you have potential for the next red ranger" said Keeper as the coach came to see what happened "what happened?! Rex!", Rex hid keeper behind a tree, "Oh, just squirrels, throwing their nuts at me, You see!" Rex points upwards and it did happen. "Ok, I thought you found a bear or something" the coach left and Rex took keeper out of the tree, "Me! A power ranger! How cool! When do I start?!" Rex asked, "In due time, come to the museum when you are done. Your new team will be waiting for you" said Keeper as he got Rex's hope up, and Rex decided to go see him after he finally found the last missing ball, and it fell from the tree, again.

Rex went to the entrance of the museum after practice, he saw a couple making out in front of the door, "get a room you two!" He exclaimed as he walked in, the girl noticed him walking by them, "Babe, I gotta get back to work now. Maybe another time after school" said the girl in pink, "Ok Daph, I'll see you at lunch tomorrow" said the boyfriend as he left, "This must be the new Red that Keeper mentioned, I wonder if he is a surprisingly good person" Daphnis said to herself as she went inside too. Daphne made time ahead of Rex, changed, and came back out to see him on a table in the Dino-bite cafe, "Hello there, may I take your order?" She went up to him and asked, "Yes ummm.....A...Bronto burger with- Hey!" Rex noticed her from somewhere, "I remember you! You were the girl who was making out with that guy outside a while ago, how did you get ahead of me?" He asked, "A...backdoor, and I remember you from school! The useful trash of our soccer team" Daphnia noticed from school and she sat down, "What are you doing here? Of all the places, why here?" She asked him, "I'm here to get answers for this" Rex pulls out his energem and shows it to her (No! Not that one!), "Oh, you must got the invitation for here, We as a team work here to keep our cover, and I'll get you to the base from here, I need to take these orders" Daphnia led him to the back and the entrance to the base was the big Dinosaur head outside the loading dock. "Ok, I guess I'm going to be eaten today" Rex said to himself as his phone went off out of nowhere, It was.......His mom, "Hi mom", "Rex! You didn't come home after practice! What is up with that?!", "I decided to get a job, and I just filled my application and I need time to do the interview tomorrow", "Why don't you stick with sports? Your father was good at them, all of them including NASCAR", "I know, I just want to be different. sure, I might a get a college scholarship but I don't need that right now, I still need to get a job to get my own money, I can't just be loaning off you and Dad, I gotta give me choice for once in my life!" He hung up after that. Rex went to the mouth and the hatch opened, He slides into the base and sees something that he never seen before. "I see that you finished what you did" Keeper appears and scares Rex again, "My name is Keeper, I assure you I'm quite harmless" he introduces now, "So....Daphnia, she's a ranger too!" Rex wondered, "why yes actually! And I'm the new pink ranger of the team" Daphnia just came in, "Whoa! That was fast" Rex was amazed, "I've been working here for months as I became the pink ranger. There's a Black, Blue, and Green too. But we can't find the gold energem" She said, "So Keeper, this teenager is the new leader of the team" said Kendall, "Me! Leader! There's gotta be mistake here! I...never led a team before, how could I be a good leader to the others if the come?" Rex said, "Treat them like they're your siblings, we are all one family who is now reunited. After this time! You might have potential to succeed in something" Daphnia fantasied, "Hold on! I didn't know you were that type of person!" Rex said, "Lay your energem on the Crystal beds, that will charge your Dino Chargers, and these help you morph into battle mode" Kendall explained, "Ok, but.....I don't have my energem just yet" Rex said and everyone fell to the floor, "My apologizes, I didn't give you this the time we met" Keeper gave him the Red energem and it didn't bonded to Rex, but He heard a Tyrannosaurus rex in the energem. "Good! Now the energems are safe, they all taken the people chosen to protect them" said Kendall, "Wait! How many are there exactly?!" Rex asked, "There was ten, four of them still bonded to their owners, and one just came as a surprise me that there is eleven, we have five on our team, we don't know where and who the sixth one went to. We could search together as a friends, what do you say, Rex?" Daphnia explained and asked him to join her, "Ok! Deal made" Rex shook her hand after that, "Come, we got school tomorrow, and the first day of work too. So you might want to change your life around now" Daphnia said, "Wait! Want me to take you home?" Rex asked, "Ok, I'll tell Dad that I got a ride home by a friend from school" She responded as she went into the car (Which was a Chevy Camero 2018 model). Now they're talking and bonding over a conversation, "So, you like dating older men" Rex wondered, "Everyone now does, because men our age care about nothing but sports just like their fathers, plus they can take responsibility for what they do with us and be mature about it" Daphnia said, "I get that but.....I wish I had a girl like you, because we know more about each other than anyone else at school does" Rex said, "And did you know that girls are being taken advantage of when they're in high school and dating older men?", "No, you really think that?", "Kind of, but I want a girl to like me because of who I am, not because I'm popular and a show off like the other jocks. Besides, that's how my father got my mom to marry her", "Whoa! I didn't not know that. No wonder you turn down so many girls that want you now and still do. My classmates think you're so hot when you mess up a trick shoot in the middle of the game, it's cute", "Me! Cute? To them? No! I bet not really", "Oh it's the truth, I wanted to meet you but I had no time, AP classes are hard to go through", "I know, because I actually passed one last year", "Incredible! dare, It was sort of better than the schools student food, So I eat lots of leftover pizza from my moms work place, I guess you can say that I get it for free" *laughing*. Rex made it to Daphnia's house, "Thanks for the drive!" She said as she went towards him and hugged him, Rex got scared because he saw her parents watching from the window, She broke out and left the car, "See ya tomorrow!" Daphnia ran towards her house and opened the door. Rex left the property and went to to home, As he didn't notice, A monster who looks like a Man-cobra thing says "I smell heroes, time to make my plan go into action".

Daphnia was in her room getting ready for bed until her father came around, "Hey sweetheart, can we talk?" He asked, "Sure daddy, what do you want to talk about" Daphnia finished changing and got on her bed.

Daddy: You know, me and your mother don't like older men dating you and getting brought into our house without permission, There was one sniffing your mothers and your panties, he is a complete creep.
Daphnia: Daddy, I got rid of him after I arrested him, he actually stole them.
Daddy: I know, me and your mother think you shouldn't be dating anyone anymore, same sex or not, you aren't allowed until you graduate
Daphnia: Daddy please! I just found the perfect man for me! It's better then what mom found for my marriage partner, and he is afraid of girls after that accident. Do you want me to marry a wimp after I get out of college?!
Daddy: No, I'm just talking about your safety.
Daphnia: listen daddy, I like who I'm dating now, and I'm about to make him meet you guys tomorrow after work, I'm sure you'll like him, you gotta!
Daddy: I might, but it's all so shocking that you're bringing so many men home without our consent, and does his parents know that he is dating a minor like you?
Daphnia: Dad, I'm not a minor anymore, I'm about to graduate in five more months.
Daddy: but that still makes you my kid, I know that you can be punished by us. You younger brother tried to protect you but look where that got him.
Daphnia: dead, I know, I made plans to go to prom with him tomorrow night after dinner, I think you know what my dress looks like.
Daddy: I bet you would be beautiful in that dress honey, I think you should return it because you might go to the prom tomorrow.
Daphnia: why did you cancel my entry! I put my money out there for nothing! GET OUT!!! , Daphnia got pissed because she was denied of going to prom with her boyfriend and him meeting her parents.

Rex came home and his mom came up and said "why are you home so late? It's past your bedtime!", "I had to work immediately and I had to drive a coworker to her house and-","You drove a girl home!! What is she like and how popular is she?! Tell me!" Mom screamed, "Mom, it's late and I got school tomorrow, I don't want to be late" Rex said to his mom as he walked up to his room, "Who knew he's growing up so fast, faster than I thought. I bet you're very proud of him......wherever you are now" Mom looks at the picture with His father, mother and himself when he was little with a soccer ball, "I bet she'll date him after this, because he is a becoming a gentleman" said Rex's mother.
