now I know every story has a drunk party scene and I want to be different...BUT YOU CAN'T NOT HAVE A DRUNK PARTY SCENE AND OMG THEY NEVER GET OLD TO ME SO LIKE...ily! <3

It was Friday already. My birthday; I couldn't believe I was turning 17 today, how the years had gone by. I was one step closer to being an adult and moving out, that's all I was thinking about. I was very excited though, as I was going round Delvin's house to celebrate. I was so goddamn grateful for that man in my life.

As soon as I entered school, I was filled with hugs and 'happy birthday' and presents. My friends were so kind and I love them all so much. My day went on and it was really good apart from that my mum forgot, but I didn't expect her to, she never does anyway.

I feel Delvin was more excited than me, he kept jumping about and saying how excited he was for tonight. He always made me happy. Savannah texted me at lunch saying she would make sure she would see me and to be around at lunch. I was sitting on the field with everyone and we we were all laughing and talking then I suddenly got surprised by a sudden warm hug round my back. I screamed and everyone giggled at me; I looked up and saw Savannah and her beautiful dark wavy hair, hanging over my face and gently stroking my cheek causing me to get goosebumps.

"Happy Birthday!" Savannah giggled looking into my eyes and I couldn't help but stare.

"Thank you!" I blushed while holding her arms. She gave me a tight hug and sat down next to me while I saw in the corner of my eye her friends giving me disgusting looks. We all sat in a circle and talked, it was perfect. We were under the big oak tree shading us from the scorching sun. Savannah kept playing with my curly dirty blonde shoulder length hair, and brown dungarees over my funky colour shirt/blouse t-shirt thing and I had a white knitted cardigan sitting loosely on my shoulders. I couldn't stop blushing ever so slightly but I loved it inside.

The day went on quite quickly and finally it was an end. Delvin insisted we went for a coffee after school, just us, which I was really happy about. It was nice just to talk to him and be with him alone. We talked for must of been hours but we was shocked when he saw the time and said we must go. I was confused why we had to go so quick but it was fine. We drove back to his house and it began to be dusk. We pulled up and Delvin was jumping and excited.

"Why are you so excited?" I laughed.

"Just can't believe you're 17!" Delvin grinned. We unlocked the empty quiet house which was dark but layed out a little differently. Suddenly the lights went on and people from everywhere shouted "SURPRISE!". I was taken aback and stood there mouth dropped. So this was why he was excited! He planned a surprise party. All my friends were there and more people too, Delvin was quite popular so he could invite anyone.

"Surprise Daisy!" Delvin smiled widely.

"Oh my god, thank you so much Delvin!" I squeaked and went in for a massive hug. I felt a tap on my back and turned around to see an angel.

"Hey." Savannah smirked.

"Hey again. I can't believe you knew about this!" I punched her arm lightly.

"Haha, well what can I say. I'm a good secret keeper!" Savannah giggled.

"Yeah right. Bet Delvin payed you to keep your mouth shut." I teased.

"Hey! I'm not that bad." We both laughed. Everything was perfect, there was beer pong in the corner. Music was being played- all my favourite songs, Delvin was the bestest friend ever. There was drinks on the island, non-alcoholic and a few alcoholic. I knew I would be having a few of them I smiled at the thought.  We all danced when 'The 1975 - Girls' came on, of course there were a lot of 1975 songs but this one just got everyone in the mood. Savannah came over and we all danced in a big crowd together. Me and Summer went and played beer pong and I nearly got everyone in apart from like 3. By now I had become a little tipsy. I was swaying around a lot but I was still in reality. I could tell  Savannah was a bit drunk too because she was very giggly and said random stuff and stumbled a lot. I was talking to Delvin and afterwards Savannah pulled me to the side.

"Do you want to get out of here?" She whispered.

"Let's." I giggled. She took my hand and intertwined mine with hers. I felt shivers go down my spine but I didn't let go. My drunk mind was happy and I felt giggly. We stumbled and chuckled while we went down to our blue moonlit place. We got to the pier and just lied down staring out to the moon glimmering lake.

"Daisy." Savannah half-whispered.

"Yeah?" I half-whispered back.

"Happy Birthday." She smiled

"Thank you Savannah Greye." I looked over at her. She looked back and smiled.

"Can I give you your birthday present now?" She questioned.

"Of course." I answered excited to get a present from Sav. She took something out of her bag and handed me a photo album of all our photos and memories and inside was also a CD.

"Oh my gosh Sav. This-This is beautiful." I said nearly in tears by how cute and thoughtful she was to do this for me.

"That's okay, I hope you like it. And guess what? The CD is you and Deylins' songs." Savannah squealed.

"Are you joking?" I asked shocked.

"Nope!" She replied.

"Sav! You're the best, but how?" I said confused but so excited.

"I asked Delvin to record all your practices and get the best ones and edit them, we teamed up. So it's kinda a joint present I suppose." Savannah slurred a tiny bit.

"That's the sweetest thing anyone has ever done. Thank you SO much. I l-love it." I smiled.

"That's okay, anything for you." She giggled and scooted a bit closer. I could feel my heart pounding and I was scared she could hear it. We were millimeters away and I could feel her warm breath brush my nose. "Also one more thing." She whispered so close it sent chills through my whole body. She put her hand over my cheek and we both gazed at each other for a second or two. My heart race was speeding so fast I'm surprised it hasn't exploded. Our lips brushed and I wanted to lean in more so it was a proper kiss but I was paralised and couldn't move. She stopped there and my heart begged her to put her lips on mine more than a brush. She stayed there for a while, both our eyes shut. She whispered a small "I'm sorry." I didn't know if this was her or the alcohol but my brain told me to put my arm around her waist and we kind of just stayed like that. I kissed her cheek quickly while she let out a small giggle.

I put my jacket over us both and all I remember was falling asleep next to Savannah Greye, our lips almost touching.
