My friends and I were all dumb. We all fell down and fell up. Now, I'm guessing you're wondering where on earth I'm going with this. Well, you're gonna find out.
So, one summer my friends were being morons and deciding to jump off this cliff at the edge of town. I didn't want to go but, they convinced me to come along.
"Come on, Kat. Don't be such a baby." Sira had said. I agreed. So, a few minutes later we got to the cliff. We were all in wet suits. "Hey, have y'all heard bout that legend 'bout 'round here." I said.
None of them did. "There's this creature that looks like the devil and an angel mixed together runnin' 'round here. It supposedly lives in the wood and in the water." I explained that there was also a cave on the side of the cliff. That was probably the stupidest thing I did that day.
We went searching for that stupid cave. It wasn't until dusk when we found it. "Let's go inside." Issiey said. "We could die...........slowly and painfully, guys." I said. Again I was reluctant about going in. YOLO I thought. We went inside the cave and things got creepy.
We walked in and the scent of death a and musk filled us all. We gasped and choked. We heard something or someone. Issiey dropped dead. Uh oh. Not Issiey. I was scared. No, I was beyond scared. It was horrified. Sira dropped dead too. In a matter of minutes, Sala, Mizta, and Arikana, were dead. I was the only one not dead. I looked around. "Hello?" I asked while almost crying. "Why did my friends die? What did they do to deserve to die?" I was furious at this point.
Tears were streaming down my face. The creature stepped out. It was hideous. Its voice was almost like sand paper. "The reason your friends died and you didn't is because your were the only one that truly believed that I was real. But now, since you know for sure. You must die." The last words the creature said ran through my head. "Even if u promise not to tell a soul? If I tell no one are you still gonna kill me?"
Its answer was obvious. It came toward me with one long finger pointed at me. I ran. Faster than you would believe. I got lost in the middle of the woods though. I heard a shriek. I found a machete laying there. Strange I thought. I grabbed it and ran. I got out to the main street. By the time I got to my neighborhood, the creature was on my tail. I ran into my house. I locked every door and ran from the phone. I called 911. "Hello?!" I was frantic. "Hello. Please state your emergency." "A unknown creature is trying to kill me." "What's your address please." "9087 Miles Road." "OK the police are on their way." "Thank y-" At this point the creature got in. I screamed. "NO! GO AWAY!" It was hopeless. Sadly now I am no more than a ghost.
The creature mauled me. I remember when my sprit came out of my body. My organs were everywhere. Blood covered everything. Thanks to that wretched thing, I am now just a soul with no home.
