I woke up to a throbbing headache. "Aw shit." I said as I opened my eyes. I was in a room with two bunk sets and one single bed. I looked around and saw Evelyn and Mayra, just waking up.

"Moon! Kaptain! You guys!" I said.

They looked up to me and went to my side. "What the hell happened?!" I asked. "I don't know. I only remember Evelyn screamed then...total darkness." Mayra said. We both turned to Evelyn. "What? Oh yeah...well I saw a shadow that was way too tall to be any of you so I screamed then the guy hit the back of my head and knocked me out." Evelyn explained.

"Well...how are we gonna get out of here? And where the fuck is Viper?" Mayra asked. Both me and Evelyn shrugged.

Just then, afro guy walked in. "Get up," he said, "your sister wants see you." We got up and tumbled behind him. Afro guy took us to what I guess used to be the diner's kitchen. We saw Aileen with red head, blonde guy and cute- I mean jerk- jerk guy. What was I thinking?! Cute guy?! Well he was pretty hot...especially with those jeans... CUT IT OUT CHASITY!!! HE WAS ABOUT TO KNOCK YOU OUT FOR GOD'S SAKE!!!!!

We went to Aileen's side. "Okay now you can ask." she said. "Who are you and what do you want?" red head asked her.

"I'm Viper Kid."

"Midnight Ghoul."

"Kaptain Cookie."

"Rising Moon." we each presented ourselves. "Who are you?" Aileen said.

"I'm Party Poison." red head said.

"Jet Star." afro guy said.

"Fun Ghoul." cute- I mean jerk- jerk jerk JERK guy said.

"Kobra Kid." blonde guy said.

"What do you want?" Party Poison asked.

"Simple. We want to recruit others like us." Mayra said.

"And what exactly are you?"

"We're Killjoys. We fight against Better Living Industries." she said with a smile. I don't know if this should be qualified as flirting...but if it was...tsk, tsk, tsk....shame Mayra...

"Well you've come to the perfect place. We are The Fabulous Killjoys." Party Poison said with a smirk that was starting to form on his mouth. What'd I tell you? Flirting... Wait!!! Did he just say...

"You're the what?" I asked in disbelief.

"You heard sweetheart. We're The Fabulous Killjoys." Fun Ghoul said, smirking at me. And let me tell you...it was HOT!

"Woah. So you guys are the legends? THE Killjoys? Oh my God! You have no idea how long we have been dreaming of meeting our legends!" Evelyn said. Of course they didn't know how long! For it was all our lives! They were the ones who inspired us to be US!

"Well sorry for the not so warm welcoming. We didn't know you were on our side." Kobra Kid said while rubbing the back of his head. He seemed like the shy kind of guy.

"Don't worry about it. I would've done the same thing." Aileen said. Wouldn't anybody?

"So, are you guys hungry?" Jet Star asked.

Evelyn nodded.

"Okay then let's get you something to eat."

We all headed over to the eating area with the booths and all. After we all sat down, Jet Star went to get the food.

"So what brings you gals over here?" Party asked us.

"We were running away from some draculoids." Kaptain said.

"What did you do? Why were they chasing you, I mean."

"We ran away from Battery City. We hated it there. We were tired of always having to do everything BL/ind told us."

"So you ran away." It wasn't a question, more like a statement.

"Yeah. Our parents got brainwashed a couple of weeks ago. All our friends did too. It was a matter of time before they brainwashed us too."

"So you want to get revenge?" Kobra asked.

"Well yeah. Who wouldn't you know? I mean they took our life away. I hate them for that and I want to make justice." Aileen said.

"Then welcome to the team." Jet said as he entered the room with refried beans in a can. My stomach grumbled once I saw the food. No one seemed to hear...besides Fun Ghoul. He smirked at me and I gave him a shy smile. Fun Ghoul and I both opened up our cans.

"Are you and your sisters close?" Fun asked me. I nodded. "Yup. Ever since I can remember they were always there for me. Used to threaten my bullies." I said and smiled to the memory. He chuckled. "How old are you anyways?" he asked me. "20 years old." I said.

He looked at me with shocked eyes. "Really?" I nodded and arched an eyebrow. "Why is it so surprising?" I asked him. He shook his head. "Just thought you were older." "I'll take that as a complement." I said and smirked at him. He smirked back. We spent the rest of the day chatting till I fell asleep in one of the booths.
