My mother had decided I was severely corrupted. As now she had came to the final decision to plunk me in to rehab. My dull brown hair and brown eyes may have fooled many to be innocent, but I was definitely far from that. I caused nothing but trouble when at home, I constantly disobeyed my parents orders and caused chaos at home, and whilst in school also. Most of my friends were told that I had swapped places in school with a French exchange student, which was the partial truth. What they didn't know was that I was now, here. Stuck in rehab. I wouldn't blame my parents, as I was addicted to drugs. I couldn't contain my alcohol. I was just screwed up.

Trailing my fingers down the cement walls I waited with my only friend that I had made for my sixth week here, Kimmy. Let's just say, she understands my story more than I even understand myself.

"I miss home." I simply stated as I crouched down to a fatal position and sighed, "We're all stuck here for I don't even know how long, few months-years even. Toughen up, Allen." Kimmy says in her southern accent as she leans against a pillar which paint has been chipped.

Rolling my eyes, I stood up again. "We're all held captive." I scoff as I peer outside the blinds, seeing bright light and streets filled with people happily talking, with their loved ones or so.

"Isn't that what rehab is for? People think we're screwed up. That's why we're here. They just don't know us."

I nodded agreeing with Kimmy. What she said was true, but nevertheless. Even as we do state it out, nobody would care anyways.

Rehab isn't scary; it's more on the depressing side than scary. But there are also the scary points of rehab. Many teens around my age and older we were all stuck here; some of them even came here by themselves cause they know they are all screwed up human beings.

Some were innocent in a way, some were just accused in to stuff, and of course some were just desperate for help.

I spot a new boy in rehab; he looked fair enough on the rebel side and I could definitely not miss his tattoos and his lip piercing, "New here?" I questioned as I walked towards him. He just ignored me.

"New hear?" I repeated as he glances up from his arms and gives me a cold stare, "Problem?" He says monotone as I shook my head, "I'm screwed up too." I laughed lightly.

"Isn't everyone here?" He rolls his sleeves up as I had a clearer vision of his tattoos, "Some are worse than others; but yeah."

"How did you end up in rehab?" I asked as I feel Kimmy's presence now beside me, "Did some drugs, the usual. Got in to pub fights." He shrugs as if it was nothing. I nodded my head.

"You're quite a badass," Kimmy states as he chuckles, "Indeed."

"How'd you end up in to rehab? You don't seem like the kind of girl who would actually end up here." Now it was my turn to laugh.

"You know, drugs, alcohol. Shit happened in school." I mocked him as he senses my tone and rolls his eyes, "Don't talk to me, I wouldn't either if I were you." He warns.

"Mr. I-am-a-badass, you technically are one of us." Kimmy sarcastically says as he glares at her, "I'm serious. It's for your own good. I already affected enough people in my teenage years."

"How old are you?" I ask him as I took a seat next to him, "Twenty." He was older than me; Kimmy was twenty also, "Okay."

"Now, I'd like to be left alone." He says as he stood up and walked away from us, "Mysterious dude." Kimmy said as I just stare at the door he exited from.

"Francine?" She calls my name as I nod, "Yeah. Quite the mystery."

Author's Note:

Okay so just to make it clear, her last name is Allen, her surname is Francine. I honestly have no idea how rehab is, and hopefully no offence is taken to those who's relatives, friends, or maybe even themselves has been through. This is all fictional. Just a short notice, so I won't have anybody questioning me, just reminding. This. Is. All. Made. Up. So some of the plots in the story may have taken place in reality, but I may twist it up. So yeah, just to put that out there -Ana
