Prologue

Her Past

"I like you. No. I love you, actually. Since I was 13. When you first came to the house. I already fell for you." Sinabi ko ito ng walang pagaalinlangan, I am young, yes. But I know what I feel. I am inlove with him.

Age doesn't matter.. right?

"Ezra, you're too young to know what you're saying. haha." He chuckled, I heard my heart slowly shattering, preventing me from breathing properly.

"I know it, Ino. I love you." I bit my lower lip, preventing my tears to cascade down on my cheeks.

"Ezra, I like your sister. She's the one I dream to marry." That's the first strike.

"But I gave you... I gave you, me...."

"I was drunk, and I thought you are your sister!"
The second strike.

"But what about the flowers? The chocolates? Ino! How do you explain them!?"

"It was only a gift! Gifts your sister never cared about!" The third strike.

I circled my arms to his neck and put my forehead to his chest. Surely, I look desperate. But I love him.
He pushed me and I fell to the grass, I looked up to him. Tears blurring my eyes.

"I love your sister, Ezra! Please stop. You're only what? For God's sake, you're only 16! I am 21!" The last strike.

Napahagulgol na ako sa iyak. Ang sakit, sakit. All this time. Ako lang pala. Modernized Tinkerbell nga talaga.

Tinanggal ko ang mga luhang tumulo sa mga pisngi ko saka ako tumakbo. Tumakbo palayo sa kanya. Palayo sa mansyong kinalakihan ko na.

And that blinding light came..

With my blurry eyes, I didn't see what was coming for me..

And then I just heard the crash and my world suddenly goes black.
