*Kevin/Nick/James/William POV*

It's difficult.

There's no other way we can describe it.

Having three other people inside your head... it's challenging.

We're nothing alike.

Nick is a sarcastic troublemaker.
James is rough and rude.
William is quiet and clever.

And me... I'm the one who keeps all of us in line. Especially Nick.

We looked up from our book as someone approached us.

"Excuse me," she said, "Is this seat taken?"

We shook our head, and I say "No, go ahead."

She sat down in front of us with a smile.

"I'm Allie," she said, and we smile.

I started to introduce myself, but Nick suddenly took over, saying "Nice hair, Allie" in his usual oily manner.

I knew that he was planning something, but I couldn't stop him.
It was his body too, and he knew it.

The problem was, nobody else knew it.

I tried to get control, but Nick easily fought me off, saying to Allie "So, what do you like to do for fun?"

I instantly knew what he was trying to do, and I fought against him viciously, desperately trying to regain control.

Suddenly, I felt Nick being pushed out of the way as William took control, and I visibly relaxed.

"I like to read," Allie said, and we smiled as William said "I do, too."

Then Allie looked at us curiously, and she asked the question:

"What's wrong with your voice?"

I felt William's mood drop, and in that moment, I felt James suddenly take control.

"What's wrong with my voice?" he asked icely, "I think a better question to ask would be 'What's wrong with your face?' Seriously, you look like a pig wearing glasses."

Allie gasped, her eyes filling with tears, and she ran off.

"Nice going, guys," I muttered, taking back control again, "Why couldn't you have just let me talk to her."

"Because, Kevin, you would've made everything awkward," Nick answered.

"Come on, Nick, Kevin was doing just fine before you butted in," William remarked.

"Will all of you just shut up!" James said, "Who gives a f**k anyway?"

"Language, James. You may have some speech, but I was here first."

That last bit startled them all into silence.

"Now," I said, "it's clear that we need some help, before this gets too out of hand. I found a good place for us to try..."

"Oh, great, another looney bin."

"...and we're going there tomorrow."

All three of them erupted.

"No way in hell!"

"You've lost your marbles!"

"Kevin, this is unreasonable!"

"SHUT UP!" I tell all of them, "We're going, whether we want to or not. I've already talked about it with Mom, and she's taking us to this place tomorrow."

I was met with three simultaneous groans, but they all agreed.

We were going.

A/N: And now you're mostly caught up.
