Everyone started to wake up around the time my mom started breakfast.
As soon as lauren was up i went back into the bedroom, got changed into a swim suite and threw shorts over it. Then i grabbed my phone and sat on the bed real quick checking it.

I went on Instagram ashlxyy on my recently searched and i clicked on her. I know who she is but she doesn't know who i am. That sounds creepy but i found out about her 2 years ago when i got one of my family friends to look into my dad.
There's a crazy family history, which you will find out some of it more and more slowly.

I scrolled through her pictures, she's two years younger then me. As i kept scrolling i noticed that they were in hawaii, but had recently been to a different part of New York then i'm in. As soon as i saw that. I closed the app, grabbed my phone and quietly headed towards my fathers office.
Even though i knew it was so wrong i started going through his desk i knew he had to had stopped by here when they were in New York.
The respect i had for him was long go and over.
As i kept searching i found this folder with our real lawyers name on it. I carefully took it out  and placed it on the desk. I opened the folder the papers in it read Serving The Divorce Petition, in that moment i felt my heart sink. As much as i think my mom doesn't deserve him and deserves better i just never wanted him to be the one to do this to her.

I started hearing a little bit of foot steps i quickly put it away exactly how it was before and closed the desk drawer, making my way out of the room shutting the door behind me.
As i did so, Alex appeared from around the corner. "hey there you are, breakfast is ready" he gave me a smile.
"alright coming" i smiled back at him.
As we walked towards the kitchen he whispered to me " what did you find ?".
"oh good there you guys are "my mom said  coming from around the corner.
"yup let's eat" i smiled at her.  I gave Alex this look saying i would tell him later and he nodded back.
When we walked into the kitchen i could see all the food in the table, but i also saw Drew and Lauren looking at something. They were laughed at whatever was in her hands, it looked familiar what was in her hands.  She started to flip the page when my attention got pulled away.

"sweetie?" my mom said.
"yes?" i said turning my attention to her.
"you should invite some of your old friends that you haven't seen in awhile over one day." she suggested.
"alright, i'll talk to some of them" i gave her a smile before turning my attention back to Drew and Lauren on the couch.
I made me way around the table and towards the back of the couch with out them noticing.

The minute i got behind the couch i knew what they were looking at and my heart just grew heavy.
Drew was about to say something before i cut him off.
"How dare you?! YOU KNOW HOW I FEEL ABOUT ANYONE LOOKING AT THIS LAUREN" i was so Frustrated with her right now why did she have to do it.

"YOU Need to stop hiding this part of your life"

"You need to bud out you don't get to make the decisions on how i run my life "  i said grabbing the photo album out of her hands.

"Oh so what i'm not your bestfriend now ? " In that moment i saw Drews eyes widen and he stood up and backed away.

" that's not what i said and you know that"

"Why do you continue to hide this part of your life? Why! You were the best cheerleader ever, you just gonna hide it from everyone for ever? Never gonna tell your kids about it?"

"What's the point if it's all over for good? "

"Stop being a baby and deal with it, it's been too long" she said.
I just walked out of the backyard door. Letting it slam after me.
