"Mom, Josh is about to come pick me up!".
I ran down stairs to my front door where I heard the doorbell ring.
When I opened the door I saw my best friend Josh.
"Are you ready to go?", he asked.
"Yep"
I propped the door open to his nice blue and white mustang.
He got in on the other side. Once we were in, we drove off.
"Where are we going?", I asked.
"I thought we could go to Kings Island for awhile. Is that fine?", Josh asked.
"Yeah", I wasn't the typical roller coaster girl but I didn't want to diss appoint him.

An hour later, we were still on the road.
I looked over at him.
He was listening to Timber.
He turned around and his Blue eyes met mine.
There was an awkward silence.
He finally spoke up breaking the silence, " Are you tired?"
"Kind of", I answered.
Both of us turned our heads back.
I hate to admit but I liked Josh.
But, I felt like he didn't like me back.

We were now pulling in to King Island's parking lot.
" Thanks for taking me", I broke in.
"No problem."
After me and Josh got our passes we met up with a group of our friends.
" Where should we start?", I asked all of them.
"Let's start with the Racers!", my bestfriend in the whole entire world named Kaitlyn answered.

Now it was starting to get dark and almost time to watch the fireworks go off.
Kaitlyn suggested to ride the Beast one more time, before we watched the fireworks.
We were all in our seatbelts ready for the ride to begin.
I looked back to the cart that was behind me. Josh and Caden were sitting behind me and Kaitlyn.
Josh and Caden were laughing and having a good time.
Before I knew it, the ride was over.
I ended up having a good time after all.

We were now on our way to watch the fireworks.
I felt a hand grasp onto my arm and turn me around and pull me off to the side.
Luckily, it was just kaitlyn.
She spoke up," Bri, I need to talk to you."
"About what?", I was concerned.
" I think it would be best that we weren't friends anymore".
" WHAT, WHY?", I was devastated.
Kaitlyn was like my sister. I just couldn't believe it. My mouth was hanging wide open.
" I can't tell you right now. I will explain to you later!" Kaitlyn said.
She walked off.
I just stood there and stared at the ground.
I sunk down, now sitting on a ledge.
Suddenly, I busted out crying.
My hands were covering my face.
I felt a coat wrap around me and an arm slid across my back.
I then heard the warm voice of Josh say ," You will be alright."
He then laid his head on top of mine.
I pulled my hands off of my face and looked at Josh.
He looked down at me.
His eyes were sparkling.
The sudden harsh feeling came back to me and I started tearing up again.
"No, no, no come here.", Josh said.
I felt his hand push back my hair.
Then something happened that I would've never thought would happen.
I felt Josh's soft lips lock on to mine.
I thought to myself I won't be the one to let go first.
His hands slid down to my waist.
He pulled back to breathe.
His voice broke into my thoughts," I'm sorry, I just had to do that!".
"Your fine!", I said.
The same feeling of his soft lips touching mine came back.
He pulled back. "let's go.". He wrapped his arm around my shoulder.
I thought I was in a dream.
We walked past Kaitlyn I looked at her and she have me a dirty look.
She has always had admired Josh.
But I guess he chose me.
We got to Josh's car. I slid into the passenger seat, once he opened the door for me.
