''Aubrey, Auuubreyyyy!!'' Zack shouts
''What Zack?'' I respond quite annoyed
''Have you stared out of the window?, the sun is shining and OMG the snow looks so pretty.'' Zack said excited
''Oh zack, sure it looks beautiful, but you're overreacting a little bit.'' I said
''Alright , you're right , by the way are you coming to the party today?'' Zack asked
''What party? The snow party?'' I asked back
''Yes, the snow party. Lots of people will be there, including your crush Will'' , said Zack and looked at me with a grin on his face.
''agh c'mon did you have to mention him?'' I laugh.
''I had to , so are you coming or what?''
''Maybe I don't know , I still have to study for the finals , you know.''
''Aubrey pleeeeeeaseeee?'' Zack looked at me with his cute puppie eyes.
''Okay okay just for you'' I said smiling.
"YAY , thanks''
As I was getting ready for the party,
I heard someone knockon my door.
''Come in'' I said.
Zack opens the door and says : ''Aubrey, what should I put on today?''
''Uhm , well I'm going with a lace dress, I guess you should put on something confortable'' I suggest him
''Sure, but what, I mean Rebecca is going to the party and I would like to impress her you know.'' As he says that , he looked at me with a kind of sad look.
The past between him and Rebecca hasn't been quite good.
''Oh, huh, maybe a suit would be good ,or uhm a chemise with jeans''
''Well I guess I'm going for the jeans and the chemise, thank you'' he smiles
''No problem Zackieeeeee'' I says as I squeeze his cheeks.
*Zack blushes*
''So Zack , are you ready to go?''
'' Ooooooofcourseee, c'mon let's go.''
We left the dorm well dressed and excited. It was a cold and silent night as expected.
It was just snowing a little bit, and everytime a snowflake touched my skin it felt like a needle was stinging me.
As they arrived at the main room for the party , everyone was just sitting waiting for the party to start.
Me and Zack had split up, Zack went to meet his friends and I went to meet my friends aswell.
The party was outdoors and it was pretty cold, but still it seemed like everybody is enjoying it.
Zack is my bestfriend, we always hung out together when we were kids and now we go to the same college.
What a coincidence
''Whoa , whoa Aubrey you're looking really good.'' says Olivia with a grin formed on her lips
'' thank youuuu oli oli , you don't look bad yourself''' I said to her
''hahaha, yeah yeah'' She said back
As I look around the 'room' I discover someone that i ahven't seen decades ago
''heeeeey look at you, wha a surprise seeing you here'' I said looking surprised
''Omg I haven't seen you since an eternity, how are you Aubrey ?'' Mina said as she pulled me into a tight hug.
''I'm good , but you know, got to focus on studies and you how are youu , I mean it's been so long ago since I saw you'' I asked her.
The last time I saw her was when I was 15 , now I'm 18 and she's 22.
'' I'm fine you know kinda busy in university but yeah, hey I'm soo happy to see you again I bet there's alot to talk about'' She said grinning
''Yeah there is alot'' I said
After dancing , eating, drinking and Talking to mina , the others started going back to their dorms.
Leaving me Mina and Zack behind talking and talking.
Me and Zack told Mina that we had to go, then she said that it was nice to see us and maybe we could hang out sometime.
'' Hey Zack, so how was he party for you?'' I ask as we start to head to our dorm.
'' It was quite boring, but as I saw mina and you talking I immediatly made my wayto you too.'' he said with a wide smile on his face.
''Hahahaha riiiight , so you didn't talk to Rebecca today?'' I asked him , then his smile started fading away as he said.
''Nope , i couldn't, didn't you know that she has a new boyfriend?''
''Oh , I didn't Sorry''
''It's alright, after everything that happened between me and her, I guess this is better like this''
'' Yeah I agree with you''
We arrived quickly to the dorm and as soon as we arrived we both jumped right into our beds.
Zack is always happy to share sleepless night with me and talking about really random stuff and it's always so much fun with him .
We really trust eachother.
"Aubrey", Zack says from the upper bed
''Yes?"
"I'm glad to have you as a friend Aubrey, I want to thank you, and I would like to share more moments like these in the future"
I smiled widely
''Oh Zack , I'm also glad to have you"
"Good" Zack responds
" So goodnight zackie"
"Goodnight Aubrey"
