This is a one shot for a compitition for  thearrowsoflegolas 's book, Honesty. Feel free to read it!

Lounging on the couch on our own privileged floor of the Avengers tower,  Erin and I were watching TV. The show Supernatural to be precise. We had been binge watching it for a week or two and were on season 3 now. I had taken a liking to Sam while Erin liked Dean. Sam loved everyone is his family enough to die for them, and I admired that. I'm pretty sure Erin just thought Dean was hot.

She always asked questions in the middle of the show, or suggested some crazy idea. For example, filling a hula hoop with salt so you didn't have to keep buying more salt. I adored her for it.

"Hey, hunny?"

"Yeah, Erin?" I figured this was one of those times.

"Can I tell you something?" She asked, reaching over and pausing the show.

"Yeah always sweetie. What is it?" I responded, putting my right arm, my normal one, around her shoulder and pulling her closer. I had a sneaking suspicion this was about her recent tendency to eat everything in sight, then throw it up.

She let out a huff of air before continuing, "Okay..." She muttered under her breath, nervously fiddling with her fingers and shifting in her seat.

"Come on, you're leaving me in suspense here," I jokingly replied to her stuttering as I placed my head on her shoulder.

She didn't respond, only took my metal hand and placed it on her stomach. Erin looked up at me as my bright blue eyes widened in understanding.

"James Bucanan Barnes," She started, unwrapping herself from me and kneeling on the floor on one knee, still keeping my hand in her's, "will you be the father of my child?"

Shell shocked, I probably had my mouth open like an idiot, before that same mouth was placed on that of my favourite person in the world.

Lifting Erin up in the air and spinning her in circles, my lips didn't leave hers until I placed her back on the floor.

Breathless, I could only murmer a soft 'yes' before pulling her in for another kiss.

I could feel her smiling against my lips.

"I think we should name it Bucky." I said, reluctantly pulling away from the kiss.

"And if it's a girl?" Erin asked, raising an eyebrow at my thoughtful gesture.

"Then we'll name her Erin."

"We're not naming the child Erin, no matter how amazing that name may be," She said, rolling her eyes, "besides, we don't know if it's a boy or girl yet." I let out a dramatic sigh and picked her up bridal style. Ignoring her cries of protest, I asked JARVIS to open the elevator door and bring us down to the main level.

Borderlining a sprint, I raced into the kitchen where everyone was sitting around a table.

"Hey truth serum girl."

"Tony, would it kill you to call me by my name?" Erin groaned.

"Erin, would you do the honors?" She lightly whacked the back of my head and said, "Well put me down then!" Huffing at her stubbornness, I placed her on the floor and wraped my arms around her, limiting her movements. I placed my head on top of her's so that her head was nestled into the crook of my neck.

"So, what's the occasion?" Steve asked. A grin broke out on my face and I tried, unsuccessfully, to hide it in Erin's hair.

"I'm pregnant."

The room was silent. It was Clint that broke the spell that had been cast over the room.

"Well somebody break out the champaign!" I rolled my eyes. The man had three kids, you think he would know how this worked.

"She can't drink alcohol, birdhead."

"I knew that, I meant for the rest of us." He remarked, faking offense.

"Yeah yeah, sure you did," I muttered under my breath, not being able to come up with a decent comeback.

"Hey, no fighting you two," Erin said in her stern voice, "we're supposed to be celebrating." I sighed in adoration, placing my right hand on the little baby bump that I was suprized I hadn't noticed before.

"You're going to be a great mother, Erin."

"I know,"
