Prologue*
Why is it have to be me...? I'm strong for my age I'm only 10 but somehow keep going. Though the beatings and my pass I stayed strong for myself always sent to homes.. a new one every month.
"Jessica you ugly no one you disgust me!" My stepdad yelled, I was sent to this home and it was great at first like he loved me but then when I though I was safe his true colors popped out.
I winced when I felt his hand connect with my cheek. "I'm s..sorry." I cry in pain. I knew I would have a bruise. "No be sorry I shouldn't have got you in the first place!" His words stung.
He grabbed my arm and yanked me up. "Ow!" I accidentally yell, he looks at me and kicks my leg. I gasp."Wh..where are you taking me?" I ask in a whisper. "Away." Was all he said and shoved me in the car. those words away was the same thing he told me when we like the orphanage and he promised I would be safe....
People lie.
