"No, I have not been able to ask him about tomorrow," Swara sighed as she sat on her bed. Kavya was staying the night at her house tonight so the three girls had gotten together to discuss Swara's birthday plans. Both Ragini and Kavya were visibly appalled when she had told them about what had happened and Ragini had even threatened to 'slap his sorry ass with a sexual harassment case'- her words.

"Never mind, I'll ask him tomorrow. I'm sure it'll be fine," she said quickly to appease her friends. Ragini and Kavya seemed okay with the response and both decided that it was time to fall asleep.
Swara thought about what was going to happen tomorrow, "I mean he wouldn't be that much of an ass to not allow me to take even a half day off after everything he has put me through this whole week right" she couldn't help but feel that something life changing was going to happen tomorrow.
"Come on Swara go to sleep and just leave everything for tomorrow.

She lifted the covers off her bed and got in. Her legs were killing her and her wrists had been supporting a visible bruise from when Sanskaar had grabbed her and they throbbed when she twisted them too fast. Luckily it was cold so she had been able to hide them from her mom with her sweater.
Kavya was tossing and turning and kicking Ragini, Swara tried to hold in her laughter when she saw Ragini attempting to move Kavya's hands and feet off of her.

Swara was just about to sleep when she was interrupted by her phone ringing. Ragini stuck a pillow onto her face to ignore both the sound of Swara's phone and Kavya's snoring. Damn the girl can snore!
Swara grabbed her phone of her nightstand and when she saw who was calling, she groaned.

"Who is it" questioned Ragini. "It's the asshole," she groaned to Ragini.
"Don't pick up! Let it go to voicemail!" was Ragini's advice as she was getting up from her side of the bed, whilst inadvertently sending a kick to Kavya throwing her off the bed. "Ufff" Swara couldn't hold her laughter at that. Kavya got up and threw a glare towards Swara, than at a guilty Ragini. "What the hell was that for, uff I think you broke my back." Ragini couldn't even keep a straight face as she responded, "now you see how it feels"

"What happened" asked Kavya as Swara's phone rang for the second time, "who keeps calling you". "It's the asshole calling, I'm telling you Swara just let it go to voicemail," which Kavya seconded.

But Swara had already picked up.
"Hello?"
"Ms Gadodia, I'm sending a driver to your place with some files. I need those edited and typed for tomorrow morning," was his order before he hung up.
"I can't believe the asshole! He-he! Urgh!" Swara could not even form words, she felt so angry.
"He is sending some files with a driver. They need to be edited and typed for tomorrow morning." Even her voice sounded defeated to her ears.

The girls had started to swear at Sanskaar's behaviour, when Kavya heard someone honking. Defeated Swara got up "I gotta go and get those damn files. You lots go to sleep". Both girls protested but Swara just sent them both a look and walked out of the room.
By the time she reached the front door, her mother had already grabbed the files from the driver and was struggling under the weight. Swara could only gape at the amount of files that he had sent.
She rushed to help her mom when her mother screeched.
"That asshole! Some files? Is he kidding me?" Swara shouted.
"He needs me to edit and type them for tomorrow morning," Swara informed when her mother gazed at her questioningly.
"Do you want me to help you Shona?" Her mother asked.
"Nah, I'll be fine," she assured even though she was not sure that she would be able to finish by morning. Jeez, they each looked thicker than my head
She grabbed them and made her way to the dining table, switching on her laptop and getting down to work.
It was going to be a long night.

A few minutes earlier at the Maheshwari Mansion
"Ms Gadodia, I'm sending a driver to your place with some files. I need those edited and typed for tomorrow morning." Sanskaar hung up before Swara could reply. He threw his phone on his bed before making his way, shirtless to the balcony.
It was cold but Sanskaar had once been colder. He laid on the balcony chair and looked at the sky. How many times had he spent the night like that, sleeping out in the cold under the stars. It may sound fun but Sanskaar has not had fun for a while now.
