Hey guys, so I was bored and realized I hadn't posted anything yet and thought 'Why not?'. So this is just a small side story. I'm working on a book and want to finish the rest of the chapter for you guys. Enjoy my boredom!

I sat in the back of the High school bus. We were going on a field trip to the art gallery to go see the new Guertena section. They actually made a whole new building  for it! As the bus came to a stop I peered out the window, only to see the marvelous building that is the gallery.

“Alright, students! I don’t want any of you wrecking the art! Be on your best behavior! Have fun!” Called my teacher, just before she released us to go into the building. I went through the front door of the gallery and split apart from any other students. I wanted to escape the petty gossip while I enjoyed the marvelous artwork. As I wondered around, I saw many marvelous sculptures, yet only one caught my eye . The beautiful sculpture was of a blood red rose. I spotted a sign on the wall and red the bold printed description of the sculpture. It stated ‘Beautiful at a glance, but if you get to close, it will inflict pain. It can only bloom in certain bodies.’. As I continued to wonder down an empty hall, the lights suddenly sputtered out. What’s going on?!  I thought. As if an answer to my private thought, the picture in front of me dripped a strange blue liquid. The liquid spelled out a message though. It read, ‘Come down below Megan, I’ll show you someplace secret’. How does a PAINTING know my name?! I thought as I followed a faint trail of blue on the floor. The trail turned into footprints as I approached a painting on the floor. The rope that once shielded it from viewers was missing a section. The footsteps went into the painting. Might as well… I shrugged. I took a stepped into the painting. I saw bubbles towards the top, as I sank lower, and lower into the painting’s inky waters. I hit a solid floor of concrete and walked down a small staircase and made my way down a hall. The walls, strangely enough, had ‘come’ printed over and over again. I saw a small vase with a beautiful, 14 petal, Green rose. I lifted it from the vase and moved the table blocking a door against the wall. I opened the door and stepped inside.

On the wall was a single picture, and on the floor in front of the picture was a small blue key. I picked up the key and exited the room. As I stepped into the hallway, I thought I was somewhere else. The walls no longer said ‘come’ but in fact read ‘thief’ instead! I walked down the hallway and to the door at the end of the hall. The handle was blue, and the door locked so I tried the key and, sure enough, it fit! I clicked open the door and set off on my adventure into the strange new gallery.
