"Um, no. TOMS are by far better than Vans!"

"Are you kidding me? Vans are heaven!" I said, playfully pushing against Paige.

We were already 2 hours into the 5 hour plane ride, and Paige and I were still debating whether TOMS or Vans were better (the answer is Vans). Paige wasn't just a "fangirl". She was actually really fun, and kinda feisty. I liked that about her. Skyler was sweet, but Paige was the complete opposite. Why am I comparing them? Skyler is my girlfriend, Paige is some girl I somehow ended up meeting in a little airport. I laughed out loud at how I was actually thinking I had feelings for Paige.

"What are you laughing at Matth-EW?" Paige spoke, smirking. "Get it? Ew? Because you're gross because you like Vans."

"Well you're even-" my sentence got cut off as a voice came over the airplane.

"Hello passengers, this is your Pilot speaking. I'd just like to warn you that we will be experiencing some turbulence. Nothing major, but also nothing to not bring up. Stay in your seats at all times. Thank you."

"Matt... Are we going to die? It's not going to crash, right? This is normal, right?" Paige questioned me, her breath quickening as a look of panic spread across her face.

"Paige. We're going to be fine. Here." I held out my hand and she gripped it tightly.

"Thanks Matt," she spoke and laid her head on my shoulder.

Lucy's POV:

"Cups?"
"Check."
"Hot tub?"
"Check."
"Beer?"

"Sky. I said no beer, so no," I said, shooting a glare towards Skylar.

"About that... I bought some anyway, so check. What's a party without beer?" Skylar spoke, trying her best to persuade me.

"My party."

"Listen Luce. Bryce might be cheating on me with Lindsey, ew, but I need to get him drunk so he tells me the truth. Ya feel?"

Bryce Davis was Skylar'a current fling. This was her longest relationship this year except for when for three weeks she was with some college kid who she lied to about her age, saying she was 22. When he found out she was 16, he dropped her quicker than a hot potato. She had a boyfriend of a year break her heart last year, and since then she has built a wall up around her. She let boys into her bed, but none into her heart.

"I feel. But look Sky, if you keep your guard up with Bryce, there's no way he'll be here for more than a week. He's not cheating on you, believe it or not. He actually is a sweet guy, just let him in."
