I sat there crying with the blade  in my hand thinking of what to do  next. As I sat there crying I picked up the phone and dialed 911. The operator answered "911,  what is your emergency?"
"um there has been a suicide." I said nervously.
" Okay,   who was it, and what is your address?" said the operator.  I sat there in silence for a moment just rubbing my fingers on the side of the blade.
"The um.... The suicide was me."
I hung up and grabbed the blade, held it to my wrist and slid it deep into my skin. Just like that it was all over, or so I thought. I woke up not knowing where I was until I heard a faint beeping noise. "Hello? Is anyone there?" I yelled.
No one answered it was completely silent. I gently pushed up on the bed to try to get up, but fell back onto the bed. It took a few minutes but I made it to the hallway where I met her. I was making my way down the hall when I saw a timid, shy, girl who also had her arm wrapped up in bandages. We both stopped and looked deep into each other's  eyes for a moment. I stood there  gazing into her eyes when she said "You aren't alone, I promise."
That was the day I realized that not only am I not alone, but there are other people like me in the world.
