How You Met

Kagami Taiga

You had just enrolled in Seirin High School from a small town in the country. Your parents wanted a better education for you and decided to enroll you into a school in the city. 

In the meanwhile, you would be staying in an apartment that you had to help pay half the rent of, meaning you had to get a job.

Leading you into becoming a cashier at the Maji Burger, a small fast food joint that paid minimum wage. Although the job was tiring and difficult to balance between school and extracurriculars, you made it work. 

There was an upside to working at the Maji Burger, a comedy duo always came in and entertained you, whether they were conscious of it or not. You found it funny how they contrasted each other in all facets: height, personality, and even hair colour. 

It was quite interesting. 

You never did get their names, but since you had a name tag they got yours...

You always had a fascination with basketball, especially when those who played the sport were exceptionally good at it. 

So, once you heard that the team was looking for a manager you immediately jumped at the opportunity to sign up. 

Unfortunately, there were a bunch of other girls who were interested in becoming the manager as well, but you were determined. Failure was not an option.

"Hello everyone, thank you for your interest in wanting to fill in the position as our manager." Riko, the coach started.

Behind her, you heard whispering coming from two familiar characters, the regulars at Maji Burger, the comedy duo! 

They seemed to be having a conversation about something.

Without realizing it you interrupted Riko and blurted out, "You're the guys who go to Maji Burger all the time, the comedy duo!" 

"I told you it was Y/N." The light-blue haired boy said.

"Tch." Kagami responded.

Everyone else just thought in their heads "Comedy duo?"

Except Izuki who thought, "I didn't know Kuroko and Kagami were doing comedy on the side! They are even getting recognized for it! I need to make more puns. I CAN'T LOSE." 

Convicted, Izuki immediately took out his notepad and began to write away new material.

(A/N: Sorry kinda got side-tracked here, oops.)

All while, you walked up to the two and stretched out your hand. 

"Please to officially meet you, I'm L/N Y/N." You smile.

Kuroko stretches out his hand and greets back "Please to meet you, as well. My name is Kuroko Tetsuya." 

You then turn to Kagami, who is blushing.

"The name's Kagami Taiga." He says in a cool manner. (A/N: Is that ooc, I'm not sure.)

"Nice to meet you!" You say cheerfully.

"I guess we know who our manager is now." Riko sweat drops.

You were had just moved to a different house. Your parents wanted you to get acquainted with the neighbour's next door and as a courtesy gave you cookies to give them.
