Remember the way you made me feel,

I miss him the way he made me melt with just his smile. When he would look at me so lovingly it made my knees go weak.

Such young love but, something in me knew that it was real.

I had never felt like that with anyone... and I don't think I'll ever feel like that again. Our love felt so real. It was real.

Frozen in my head.

All I have now is the memories to keep me sane.

Pictures I'm living through for now,

All the pictures we took together the only thing to remind me that it was all real and not just an illusion.

Trying to remember all the good times.

Its hard to not cry thinking about the good times we had. Our first date, Outside at night, Stargazing, making smores. Our wedding where we both cried, I felt like the luckiest man in the world. When we adopted Philip and the smile on your face shined bright, it made my heart melt.

Our life was cutting through so loud.

I never thought this would happen. Why us? We had the most perfect life, I guess happy ever afters only exist in fairy tales.

Memories are playing in my dull mind.

That awful day I'll never forget. So much was going on, I remember holding Philip so tight trying to stop the tears he had while failing to maintain my own tears in.

I hate this part, paper hearts,

Remember, every anniversary you would cut out paper hearts, write down sweet things and stick them everywhere. I still have them all I read over them every anniversary. I really miss you, I hate doing this because I start to cry and then Philip trys to comfort me but ends up crying himself. We need you. Philip needs you. I need you.

And I'll hold a piece of yours.

Don't think I would just forget about it,

I could never forget our love. It was truly something amazing.

That day in the hospital I will never forget. When they told us you had gone... I didn't think it was true. I remember praying that it was a dream. I really miss you I wish I could be with you but I made a promise to take care of our son and I will keep that promise. I hope wherever you are you're not worried. Me and Philip will survive, we will miss you dearly, but we know you'd want us to be strong and we will just for you.
