Chapter 23

(Louis' POV)

I'm being treated for my burns. Eleanor is still unconscious. The doctors said that there is a high chance that Eleanor may be dead. She can't be dead. SHE CAN'T BE. If she's dead, I'm dead. I asked the paramedic to let me go see Eleanor, but he refused. I couldn't take it. I pushed the paramedic out of the way and I started to run to Eleanor. I saw her. She laid there. Her head was dripping of blood. Who was driving that car?

(Eric's POV)

I yawned. I looked around. I heard Aiden talking.

Eleanor & Louis were involved in a crash? Louis' being treated...Eleanor unconscious? I'd better see what's going. The doctors said I should be fine after a couple days. I got out of bed and grabbed my shoes and my hoodie. I made sure no one was watching me and I ran out of the hospital. I arrived at Louis' flat. There was a car stuck in the middle of the flat. I saw Louis crying. I ran over to him.

"Louis, what happened?" I asked.

He looked up.

"Eric? Aren't you supposed to be in the hospital?" he asked.

"Yeah, yeah, never mind that. What happened? Where's Eleanor?" I asked.

He pointed over to an ambulance. They were pushing her in it.

"They said there's a high chance that she won't make it." Louis sobbed. "I ran over there. She wouldn't wake up to my voice. She usually does."

"Do you know who was in the car?"

Louis shook his head.

"I can't lose Eleanor. I can't." Louis sobbed.

Then, the ground started to shake. The ground was splitting. Louis and I quickly went for shelter. It was an earthquake. Everything was shaking violently. Louis covered my head. The building we were in was falling apart. Louis and I stayed down till it was over.
