A trail of bullets plunges through the soil inches from Andrew's current position. As he keeps an evasive sprint around the turret the air rattled with spitting gunfire as the weeds of automatic weaponry let loose their deadly projectiles.
Having spent the first thirty seconds analysing its limits and movement he felt that he gathered enough data to make a confident read.
Placing his faith in his dark armours durability along with the swiftness of his feet he rushed in towards the turret with his sword poised for the takedown. As he draws closer he watches the nozzle twitch towards him which he reacted to by shifting to the other direction forcing it to readjust its aim. Thanks to the lengthy starting time of its gunfire he was able to move out of range untouched.
As the gap grew smaller he sped up the cycle until he was within cutting range. With a swift cut, he tore the gunner clean. As it fell on the soil sparks flew off it's now slathered circuit. As Andrew was recovering from his attack however he was struck by incoming bullets from a turret to his side.
Staggering into an evasive stance he ran around the next gunner much the same way as the last. Recollecting his bearings he although stinging from the pain of being hit by bullets thank god for his knight's armour sturdy protection.
Cutting cleanly though the second one he takes this time to observe Flynn handling the other gunner turrets within in the vicinity. He used his diamond-like knight's armour to deflect the bullets much like he was. Unlink him however he opted to tank most of the projectiles over avoiding them outright.
As Flynn demolishes another gunner Andrew runs in to assist him by taking out one that was furthest away from him. The light drizzle of rain makes the grass wet and a little hard to gain optimal footing. Pushing through this dilemma Andrew stepped into striking range. Coming in fast and heavy he cuts down the torrent.
With the last three gunners turning their fire on him however he staggered back at the sting of bullets heckled his knight's armour, as he flinched in a panic he put his hand out over his face. Grinding to a halt beside Flynn behind a rock he takes his time to recollect himself as he looks at the swelling that was forming on the palm of his index finger from a stray bullet. Andrew's eyes darken to this fact, if it had not been for his knight's armour then he would have been looking at a missing finger.
If it was not for the strength of his inner energy that was shrouded over himself then he would have been littered with holes and resting in a pool of his own blood. The finger was numb making clenching it into a fist hard but with his anger raising it did not stop him from trying.
With the popping of gunfire filling the air the two of them remained hidden under a large boulder as bullets whizzed away at it. Andrew finding the predicament they were in frustrating turned over his shoulder to Flynn with eyes of fire.
"We have not got time for this!" Andrew shouts over the loud gunfire.
"You don't say," Flynn flippantly said back.
Andrew glared back at him questioningly which Flynn just shrugged off. The gunfire stopped moments later further punctuating the out of place body language of Flynn, it did not help that Andrew's eyes only grew narrower as the silent seconds ticked on.
"Excuse me?!" Andrew said in a loud whisper as if wanting to shout without waking someone. "The hell does 'that' mean?!" he said mocking Flynn shoulder shrug mid-sentence.
Flynn just looks at him with an I-can't-be-bothered expression.
"What I mean by that is try not to be so intense," Flynn said whilst poking Andrew's ribs with his elbows to his surprise. "Yes. This maybe a crappy situation but if you spend it all worked up you will only burn through your reserves more quickly."
