I woke up to the alarming noise of my baby brothers cry, I figured he was hungry again so I went downstairs to get out some food for him.

I had on a pair of sweats and a plain grey T-shirt, Just my casual cloths...

Dad always though I could always be more girly but I liked myself the way I am!

I quickly grabbed zander some food and then headed back up stairs to Fan girl over JOEY BIRLEM! OMG he is SOOO dreamy and I always fantasize about being in his arms!

Of coarse Im not the only girl in the world who hopes to be in his arms one day, and I know there's almost a 0% chance of me ever actually meeting him!

I sighed because I knew all I could do was fantasize and stare at my posters of him on my wall!

I said into the phone, most of the time I never look at the callers ID but I could immediately tell who it was by the voice "Omg I told u I would call?! how could u forget?" It was carol my best friend "Im sorry I was.... Fantasizing?" "Same, But at least I don't forget about the REAL world!" I've known carol sense 1st grade and we always share the same thoughts..... except she doesn't like Joey, I do, I like Joey, SHE likes Charles.... Gitnick.... I think that was his name.... "I'm sorry carol I wish I had better control over it..." "oh well.... hey do you wanna hang out at the cafe downtown at 6?" "Sure no problem" I hung up and put my phone on my side table.

Me and carol always hang out at the cafe because she get her favorite coffee there for only- 5 bucks! Its cheep but the place has the BEST whipped cream! Some times I just order Whipped cream in a cup so I can bring it home! As I was sitting on bed thinking my thoughts Zander comes running inside my room "THERES A TALL MAN OUTSIDE! HURRY! HURRY!" He shouts "Zander calm down! Where's Mom?!" "She's coming!!" I quickly run downstairs and to see my mom talking to uncle Fred, of coarse... Zander always calls him 'The Tall Man' "Hi Fred!" "Oh, Kaylee, you've grown taller!" "It's been a week Fred" "I know" Me and Fred share a hug, don't worry he's over 30! Zander charges into his legs for a hug afterwards. I wish I could be happy to see him... but most of the time he has something bad to say. "I've got some news.." he said "it's not the best news in the world" I looked over at my mom, she had a worried expression on her face, I looked back at Fred "Mom... is dead" I stood shocked... "grandmas.... dead?" Zander says "yes... they found her on the floor, she died in peace" my mom started crying, no, she started sobbing as Fred comforted her. I didn't cry, I've never seen grandma, only Zander and my mom had ever gone. My moms crying, I didn't notice the ground shaking, it had started, an earthquake, a small one, that would change my life...
